Cooldowns are still good enough to warm enemies up with prox mine debuff then activate marksman to reload before the mag empties (with mag upgrades, obviously).
Use the revenant from cover to hose spawns, and use the talon while running & gunning.
The two gun loadout helps to reduce the issue of running out of ammo.

If you're willing to carry two guns, try revenant and talon together.

Talon and Hurricane combo is much much more potent IMO. And you can have 175% CD on it and tons of ammo.

But any kit can own with the hurricane, only the Tsol has a reason to prefer the revenant to the typhoon, saber, or harrier.
Theorecicaly, the Quarksman comes close in performance with the revenant, but he usually has to waste at least one slot on a recoil mod, and doesn't have the shields to stay out of cover long enouth to make full use of it.
I suspect that the Tsol is the reason the revenant never got it's accuracy buffed enouth to be good on a non-accuracy boosting kit during balance changes, since the Tsol fits the revenant so well as is, It'd be comparable to the Pre-nerf typhoon and piranha combo in the Destroyer's hands if it's accuracy had been inproved.
It got it's damage buffed 3 times, but nothing was ever done about it's accuracy, meaning most kit's can't apply all that damage potential onto anything smaller than an atlas.
Biower pls.<_<
The TSol, however, makes it accurate enouth that most of it's shots will hit even a small target at a respectable distance, boosing the practical ingame DPS, as well as boosting the theorecical DPS.
Basicaly, I'm thinking more in terms of finding a use for every gun than I am of making every kit as OP as possible.
If I was solely concerned with maximising OP'ness, I'd advocate hurricane + acolyte on everything.

Which is why you only fire it from cover, and switch to the talon when mobile.Element 0 wrote...
But the biggest drawback of the Revenant (for me at least) is the reduced movement speed while ADS'ing. Couple that with TSol's already sub par mobility and you have a pretty slow moving turret that can't dodge.
Thats why I specified the two gun loadout was important, a revenant with no sidearm is awful for running & gunning.

Not my playstyle then. I always want to be mobile and ready to react. Cover mechanics suck in this game due to controls and there are too many zerg rushers that can gangbang you against the wall at any point.

Certain stages where you can park at a ammo box too you can just keep carpet bombing all the things.
He's also kinda lol w/ a piranha. 6 shot nerf? Nah, Tsol is a 12 shot piranha
Raider! Likewise. Reegar cheese too, 2x the reegar dumped into whatever.
....Basically, he'd be awesome with even a spitball or rubberband gun.
(mainly because it would be expertly calibrated)

Shoot, concussive, shoot, concussive, shoot, concussive, reload, concussive and repeat... troops gone, armor ripped, tons of dead reaper left.
Always puts a smile on my face how awesome this combination is...

I prefer that on the cryo soldier, so I don't need to waste a reset. But it's pretty awesome on plat, just sucks against the high shielded bosses.Lacika2000 wrote...
My favourite Turian Soldier is maxed on Concussive shots, especially against frozen targets, using a Krysae sniper with extended mag and extended barrel, Cryo ammo, Operative package, sniper amp and Power amp against Reapers anytime.

If you are taking to Platinum then ammo becomes an issue so having a Lancer or a side arm like the Talon is handy

The only thing i miss is a "power use" evo in marksman. For example instead of that stupid "works only on mooks" headshot evo or the rank 6 recharge speed (which is a nominee for the most "good for nothing" evo).

I like him best with the Saber, the Revenant, the Tempest if I'm feeling hipster, and of course the Raider.
