So I was bumming around youtube and saw a clip where Alistair is a Grey Warden that you talk to during the Qunari attack instead of Straud. This clip had dialogue between Alistair and Isabela. My question is if this is modded. As far as I know there is no way to have Isabela in your party between her running off with the book and her coming back right before the Arishok confrontation.

I found the clip, but it's never explained why Isabela is there.

More than likely, they did plan on having Isabela potentially stick around, but then changed their minds. That dialogue remained in the game files, however, because it's hard to delete. (Someone with more technical expertise than I could probably explain why that's the case.)

DanaDuchy - being the enterprising soul he or she is - fished it out with mods. Notice how Hawke is wielding two daggers and Carver is alive?

Boy, Izzy seems happy to see Alistair. "Are you staying? We could catch up."

I missed noticing Hawke with daggers. But I agree that it looks like it was something that was intended and then cut.
