Maybe I'm crazy, but choice of nationality would be an interesting addition to the customization of your character. Obviously this would be a massive undertaking, and it would make voice acting a nightmare. I just think it would add new depth to be an Ander soldier, a Tevinter magister, or an orlesian bard. Like I said, massive yes,. Worth it? Perhaps. Let me know what you think.
Nationality?

I think this would have been theoretically possible without playable races... but with races AND different nationalities/accents?
I think it would be great and awesome, but it is likely either insanely expensive or incredibly restrictive to dialogue options.

I imagine (or, well, I hope.) your character will be from a different place depending on your race.
While not impossible, it'd feel a little...lazy for them to just say "Yeah, this Qunari was born and raised in this place called Candlekeep in Amaranthine. And so was this elf, dwarf..."

It looks like the human will be from Ferelden again, unfortunately.

If we were still limited to human as a race option, I could see it. But as Fast Jimmy said, we're starting to push the limit here.
