I was shooting walls, that don't move or shoot back or rush you or stagger you mid burst. There were no teamates to shake my screen or to make enemies do unexpected movement like dodging, flinching, flipping, charging and so on.

The entire video did not consist of you shooting walls.

It was bronze. Gold and up would be very different.

Different in the fact it would show which gun kills faster:whistle:

Is it a safe bet that "senior C-Sec officers" are "Turian Veterans?"

Bailey? Fkn HARKIN?

Garrus mofo Vakarian???

"Garrus Vakarian is a turian, formerly part of C-Sec's
Investigation Division. Like most turians, Garrus had his military
training at fifteen, but later followed in his father's footsteps to
become a C-Sec officer."

And the father of Garrus.

Well yeah. Most of them are Turian. But not all. But the rifle comes as standard. It's like the Glock or the Smith&Wesson revolver for police.

Don't you get sick of always using the same gun and playing the same way? I like the fact that there are dozens of weapons with different strengths and weaknesses. Sometimes you Valkyrie, sometimes you Argus, and you adjust play style accordingly. The game is still fun regardless of whether one gun does X more damage or does or doesn't need a mod. Why so much angst on the forum over which gun is "better"?

Too sensible, conciliatory and reasonable.

BSN posting status revoked.

Mah bad.  Will throw in a few more "like a d-bag" next time. :P  I just got my first note from a biowaremod as a result of this thread, informing me my post was deleted.  So i was trying to be a little more sensible, conciliatory and reasonable.

Harkin was one of the first Humans in C-Sec and had a career there for 20 years. If 20 years don't make you a senior - I dunno then.

I am glad we are addressing this topic in this thread, since it is probably the most pertinent issue surrounding the Argus.

That would somewhat depend on what they meant by "senior officer."

If they meant senior officer in the sense of a rank structure, he wouldn't have been.  He was a detective, IIRC.

Even if you accept that they just meant any old officer that was on the force, Harkin was kicked out before ME3 and isn't a part of the current sample of officers, of which the majority are still Turians, even after ME1.

edit: Argus isn't even C-Sec issue, despite the description...

C-Sec favors them, but

Other law-enforcement agencies across the galaxy are adopting the Argus as their standard rifle, as much for its intimidation factor as its suppression power.

Meaning you can get humans and asari and who ever else using them. :P

I know this has nothing to do with the topic, but it's just funny. As funny as Avenger on full auto.

It's like if the police get their MP-5's taken away for example and given something like a Hornet for hostage situations.

Knowing if Harkin is a senior C-Sec officer is of vital importance to how good or bad the Argus is.

Although I bet the real reason they kicked Harkin out was because he couldn't handle the recoil of the Argus.

Ironic that the hornet kicks so much, since its visual design is a copy of the KRISS vector, a smg designed not to have much recoil...

Not necessarily since it does not specify.  More to the point, the original comment I made was more a play on the name of the Turian passive.  But even so, you can assume that if any other LE adopted it, then probably it would be Turian LE's.  Or you can assume that some of these agencies order them with stability dampers installed...

I meant the fact that the vector's wierd appearance, which the hornet copied, is due to containing a purpose built recoil control system.
Odd that the hornet would copy the design without copying the reason for the design.

At 6:49, the Valkyrie Part, no one saw the extreme aiming compensation ? A stomach/chest shot caused the troopers head the explode? Did I miss something there?

Aimbot - clearly.

That happens. Quite a lot actually. I've shot many Phantoms with a Javelin in their bewbs and their heads would explode.

i never said aim bot, I said aim compensation.  I wonder if the head-hit boxes are bigger for PC. Not trolling, just wondering

Yes they are. At least on my host. Every enemy is actually a large head.

And yeah, Bioware specifically made enemy hitboxes larger for PC only. Cos scrubs clearly can't aim there.
