You're missing out; the two best games of the last year or two have both been story-focused zombie games.

I'm not. There is nothing I would enjoy about them. It doesn't matter what the production values are like, there's simply nothing in those games that could possibly be a source of any enjoyment.

I don't think it's strange to say that one might not enjoy a type of genre regardless of how critically well-received it is.

Well it's only THE defining RPG of that generation, whose main premise is time travel.

I still think it's Star Wars related.

It has been stated that it is a new IP. They have built their own fantasy IP with Dragon Age, and their own sci-fi IP with Mass Effect. What genre hasn't been explored by Bioware yet? Kung Fu is taken care of with Jade Empire. It can only be either a western, although Red Dead Redemption has already taken the throne, a police/crime drama, although GTA IV & V can't be beaten in that area.m Or perhaps a Horror RPG, the likes a Vampire the Masquarade. But, theres another genre that remains unexplored in single player games, apart from the hit of 2002, FREEDOM FORCE. It's the SUPERHERO genre. The current successs of superhero movies, clearly shows the public appetite for that sort of story. On my part i would love to see a superhero RPG Bioware style.

EA has the starwars franchise stuff from Disney.
A starwars single player rpg would make sense.

Maybe Star Wars. Or maybe some futuristic vampire-like setting, similar to Blade or something.
