Dual wield thread got me thinking but devs if you care to answer please tell me warriors can use ranged weapons now. I know warriors have that "get over here!" move but say for instance the dragon fight in DA2 where the dragon perches at a distance and tosses enemy waves and fireballs at the party the get over here move clearly won't work then. Could warriors switch to a bow (or other ranged weapon) in said circumstances?
Can Warriors at least use ranged weapons now?

Probably not. I just hope there's no "I shall stand here out of reach while you throw stones at me" bosses in DAI if warriors are stuck melee ranged again. (Nothing sadder/funnier than having a 3 warrior party in that high dragon fight. Poor Merrill).

Who knows, are they still using Invisible walls? If not, it wouldn't be impossible for them to make an opposite of the "Chain Grapple" move you mentioned, and instead make one where the Warrior leaps to an enemy across/up/down terrain, to reach the High Dragon.
If they are, I think it would be cool for them to use Crossbows, since the Str Requirement on them but weird stat scaling made them awkward in DA:O. If they could fix that, it might work.
