My first character is going to be an extremely ruthless version of Joan of Arc. Or something like that.

We'll ride on our horses marching with swords and staves instead of flags. We'll kill the mages off and close that veil.

We'll stay at inns and my little Jane will duel the drunken with her swords of ruthlesness. No mercy! Murder knife to your throat!

We'll ride in the sunset with my ugly - but reliable - Dwarven armor. We'll fight the demons and monsters like the heros of legends.

Cassandra will kill my little Jane on the cheek and then they'll duel againt the might knights of hell. They killed them all. And it was written in the book of Jane.

We will march with our short hair and swords of ruthlessness. No mercy! Death to the mages and all those that stand against us.

A female, more evil version of Iorveth from TW2. Even more pro-elven than my Warden was. Viciously so. Burns down shemlen villages and doesn't feel a speck of remorse.

That's about as far as I've gotten. Hell, if possible I'll even make her look like somebody gender-swapped Iorveth.

well me.
My persona.
rotfl.
Makes Bioware developers and BSN posters alike quaiing in their boots doesn't it.
Been playing rpgs a long time.
My leaders are a reflection of my personality .
Be kind, sympathetic , and generous, rolls eyes, seal the rifts and stabilize Thedas with as little bloodshed as possible.
I like Charlemagne among historical figures, if that's any indication.

Mage who opposes both the mage rebellion and the Templar fascists - but only deals with them when he has to in an effort to take care of the much larger threat of the Veil tears.

He'd never support an elven rebellion while the world is being consumed by the Fade (assuming that's what is happening) - but would welcome them if they were willing to put that crap on the back burner till after the threat to everyone (even elves) is dealt with.

The Qunari have to be watched closesly during this time - but he'd make allies with them to achieve his goal of shutting down the Veil tears - while keeping them at an arms length and trying to learn their invasion potential.

Dwarves always rock - and will likely be stalwart allies if available.

Trust Tevinter even less than the Qunari - would have to seriously consider any alliances with this group.

Of course - who knows what choices are really going to be brought up in this game.

Male Dalish Elf. still deciding between Archer or Mage. If being a Keeper/First is possible then Mage. But then again there will be bow strings.

Pro-Elf obviously, straight, and thats it right now

oh yeah he also likes playing music in the tavern

If you've seen the movie The Black Death, personality-wise a bit like Osmund in the film's epilogue.

They will be based on my imagination, and their race/class/gender/origin story, rather than a specific character or real life person.

Pretty much.
Some will be good, some will be cruel, some will be opportunists, and pretty much anything else I think of.

I'll most likely be a human or qunari sword-and-shield Warrior who makes the quote-unquote "good" decisions. Then I'll be a complete and utter bastard the second time around.

First character will be a Good Guy Human Rogue. Following that, it will be based on what events happened (or didn't) because of various choices. Typically my second playthrough is darkside/renegade to see what the opposite reactions/results from my first are.

Haven't decided on a race yet, most likely human or elf, but my first character will be a mage, possibly a blood mage, depending on what changes they make to it, that hates templars and has a sadistic streak. I can't help it, I just find it impossible to play as "good" characters, it's always a lot more fun to be evil. I'll probably make two characters, along with my mage, an assassin type character, I usually keep my assassins neutral, neither good or evil, more focused on money.

I do not enjoy playing myself in video games.

Feels too.... personal. Like I'm being violated.

Dunno. Good. It's hard to set the rules of engagement beforehand. Except for the fact that slavers and murderers are dead men walking.

Many of my characters have the ego the size of Texas. They'll sell of slaves, support the torture of their comrades, support the enslavement of souls...

But they still consier themselves good people. Haha.

DAO-Warden was basically a power hungry noble sort; cross between personal ego and a desire to create "Order" type, one woman kind of man but totally willing to marry for political gain, kind of walking the edge of psychopathic violence and decent human being

DAII-A "rakish" charmer Wizard type, slept with everything, pretty much a sociopath and the only power he really cared about was magical though not opposed to the other kinds as well. Has no problem whatsoever selling out all the other mages to side with Meredith.

DA Inquisition: Thinking, celibate assassin/rogue with little people skills, works behind the scenes to create as much social disorder as possible and limit all the powers that exist or just out right kill them.

My first character will be a female, human rogue that is ruthless and selfish. The more assassin-y and Elektra-like as possible, the better.
