What's your all-time favorite scene throughout the trilogy that shrouded you in immersion the most just by the delivery of the line/s? Share it here by posting your own veed or finding someone else's on Youtube.

My favorite delivery is from ME2. Mordin's loyalty mission, the encounter with the Weyrloc clanspeaker. Creature voice acting doesn't attract as much attention as the human/oid characters in the trilogy, yet I never felt more immersed than when I was told about the "krogan children that never lived". The delivery of that particular line still gives me the frissons.

The line that has always stood out to me is at the end of Priority: Mars when Eva is about to escape in the Cerberus shuttle. Jennifer Hale's "James? Normandy? Anybody?!" is incredible. Mark Meer's take on the line always rubs me the wrong way though, like he's Gene Wilder and a child has just fallen into one of his many chocolate death machines: "oh no, please don't escape, Cerberus android, that would be a most unfortunate end to this mission."

I was thinking of the same scene Mysten, but I think my favorite is Garrus' goodbye on Earth if you romanced him. Image IPB

Jennifer Hale's voice always gets me there and that's because there's real emotion there. She said she nearly started crying during that scene, you can hear it, and it adds quite a bit of emotion to the scene. And of course Brandon Keener is always good.

Speaking of Brandon Keener I've always liked the part in Garrus' Loyalty Mission in ME2 "Run all you want Harkin! We'll find you!" Love that line.

Two lines from Mark Meer. First one is during your talk with Tali at the memorial after Thessia:

"I'm risking everything to build the crucible, and I'm not even sure what it does."

Second one is when you're running around the Reaper Destroyer on Tuchanka:

"There's a Reaper in my way, Wrex!"

Not really immersive, but the way he says it makes me chuckle.

EDIT: Forgot Tali's lines during her evac scene, how silly of me.

Doesnt really seem necessary, since most people here would already know or remember these lines, or just look them up for themselves.

Plus im on a tablet right now, so just simply copy and pasting a link is too much work.

Thane: "Kolyat, there are many bad things I've taken out of this world. You're the only good thing I ever put in it."
There's something about the way that line is said that always gets to me.

WREX: What can I do for you?
SHEPARD: What’s your story, Wrex?
WREX: There’s no story. Go ask the Quarian if you want stories.
SHEPARD: You Krogan live for centuries. Don’t tell me you haven’t had any interesting adventures.
WREX: Well, there was this one time the Turians almost wiped out our entire race. That was fun.
SHEPARD: I heard about that. You know, they almost did the same to us.
WREX: It’s not the same.
SHEPARD: It seems pretty much the same to me.
WREX: So your people were infected with a genetic mutation, an infection that makes only a few in a thousand children survive birth? And I suppose it’s destroying your entire species?
SHEPARD: You’re still here. It can’t be all that bad.
WREX: I don’t expect you to understand. But don’t compare humanity’s fate to the Krogan.
SHEPARD: I was just making conversation. I wasn’t trying to upset you.
WREX: Your ignorance doesn’t upset me, Shepard.

For me it's the renegade voice-over during the control ending slides, especially "I will lead an army that none will dare oppose" and the confrontation with Mordin on tuchanka. "Aaah.... why Shepard" and "not your decision, not your work, not your cure...". Those felt very powerful.

Oh man.. there's so many and I'll probably come back and post another later on.

One of the ones that sticks out for me is Tali's ME2 mission and finding her father:
"They're wrong. You wouldn't just die like this! You wouldn't leave me to clean up your mess. You can't."

(Here is the extended dialogue for no hug.. also great.)

Also Jonah's parents.

Oh alright, fine. I guess I can free up the next 10 minutes to cry to that scene again.

Anderson cheering Shepard up after Thessia.

Hell, he managed to cheer me up. The perfect choice of words -deliberate dryness counteracting Shep's melodrama- and the acting probably makes me the only one who loves the Thessia aftermath.

Everything with Shepard and Miranda in a romance.

Also, talking **** about the alliance and Council and making pro-Cerberus remarks.

This.

Also, Mordin's singing in ME2. Specifically, when Mordin coughs after he finishes the song. I've seen it 20 or more times, and it always makes me laugh. I also like Hackett's speech after the Destroy ending, when it flashes to each character who's died over the course of the games.
