How Will Other Groups, Races, and Orders See the Inquisition

If out mission is to save the world from itself, I imagine, there will be opposition from some or not all members of these different orders, and possible split factions. That's not even coundint and small groups that may be out there looking to carve their piece of Thedas out for themselves, and see the Inquistion as a hinderance.
Any thoughts on the matter?

As to the other questions, I don't know. But I think it will start out mostly human so there's that.

Out of curiosity while playing, I hope we meet a dragon cult of some sort.

But surely any growing military is going to catch some notice regardless of what they call themselves.

The Nobles are going to be divided. Some may even be making a profit off the chaos and would like it to continue. Simply put, each noble will be different depending on what his or her goals are.
The Circle and Templars may either look to you for support or ignore you. If you support one side the other will attack you on sight, but I'm hoping I can actually oppose both. Mean while I can see the Chantry will most definitely try and make you into their new agents after losing both Templars and Seekers.
That's my two cents.

As it is, the world is at the brink of... something, so I would think that people would care more about what you do the improve the situation, than what is the name of your organisation.
Or I might be wrong.

Since a game needs enemies, I'm guessing most groups will see it pretty negatively.
Implying every group will be enemies

We're already dealing with demons, Red Templars, and Gladiator type bandits from Tevinter (maybe Darkspawn too) as enemies.
We don't need every group in the game to be enemies

Not like David would even know the significance of such a thing.BlueMagitek wrote...

It's the fact that he makes assumptions about games that he doesn't know that irritates me. Not the fact that it is David talking. Also, I've never played a game where most of the factions are against the player. Have you?BlueMagitek wrote...

Nya'h~, I wash my hands of this side track.
There are a lot of things going down and the Inquisition is only related to a few of them. I doubt the CE or Dalish will see much use in the Inquisition, being concentrated on their gathering and revolting.

Most games actually have a lot of factions against you, outside of RPGs. ^^"

With every faction and group being busy with their own thing, none of them would really pay attention to the Inquisition until it gets involved in their issues

True. This I cannot deny. Of course said games are about taking over usually, so it's expected. Here we are trying to protect everyone.BlueMagitek wrote...
