Will anything from the Pinnacle Station dlc carry over to ME2 when we import a character? Decisions, items etc. - anything?

Why would you want anything to. It was a waste of time and money. The only cool thing, his pad, is something you wont need anyway, not with his new cabin.

I doubt it. I think it's just useful for generating the XP needed to get you to Level 60 ready for import into ME2.

Honestly, the reason I ask is because my last play-through is going to be on insanity difficulty and I had a hard time doing Pinnacle Station on Hardcore so I'm unsure if I'll be able to do it and I don't want to miss out on anything when transfering that save game.

I can only hope that the house carries over. Like halben3000 said, we don't need it anymore but at the same time its a house!

they've said that decisions from BDtS transfer over I believe, but were there really any decisions to be made in PS?

I'd say surviving Ahern's Mission might...key word...might grant you something. Plus there was something about Ahern that seemed like he would be someone who was well connected outside of the military.

They already said DLC choices will carry over, which means BdTS and Pinnacle.  So with that in mind if they just do BdTS and no Pinnacle there is still people who would say "That's not fair"  In the end though I say bring as much as you can, why not.  

It's not like it hurts people who didn't have the DLC, and they have already said people get bonuses also for Mass Effect Galaxy and not everyone could play that either, but it's not a big bummer how I see, I didn't play it, so I don't get the bonuses.  Not gonna end my enjoyment of the game.

It'd be nice if it carried over. If you got to return two years later and your times were still top of the leader board. Maybe try out some new simulations. Win another house or something.

Dammit, I hope Pinnacle Station has no effect on ME2... The "story" of that DLC made me feel really dumb...

Well, if you're planning to do Pinnacle on insanity, you're going to run into some problems. Near as I can tell, the Volcanic Hunt stage is literally impossible on insanity. You just can't kill the immunity spamming enemies fast enough.

It is not easy, but it IS possible. E.g I finished the Pinnacle on insanity =)
