Hi guys, me and my friend recently got this game, we are using the Client extension thing, so we can both see games online. But we want to make one, and I want my friend to host, problem is, his game never appears online or on LAN, we are currently in same house but plan to play from our separate houses. If I host he can see me in LAN but not internet, we both have post online ticked. He is trying to use Hamachi (tunngle is not working) and we have managed a connection but I cannot see his game even after getting all of that working. Does anyone have any idea how we can get this working????
Cant see friends game

I like that pic. Basically to quote a guy on GoG
Go into the multiplayer menu.
(pro-tip, the master authorization server was taken down, so add the following two entries into your hosts file "/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts"
0.0.0.0 nw2master.bioware.com
0.0.0.0 nwn2.master.gamespy.com
and instead of waiting 2 minutes for the time out, it will time out instantly)
If you are hosting, New game (or load game for subsequent play throughs) just set up your server once, and it keeps the settings from then on.
To join, just use the direct connect button, and type in the IP directly. No virtual LAN required."
------
I remember I had problems too, but you can try to launch the game after disabled your firewall (windows or an other) sometimes it helps
I also added a :insertwhatportnumberitis directly after IP, no spaces
