nah not really. There are reasons why PC players are Master Race. And it's not because of our aim is better, or coordination and overall perfomance as a players, but because some other reasons which are related to these exclusive games and some other supporting products.
i can understand when some people will buy ps4 as upgrade from ps3, which is a good call given how limited consoles are. But when i see when some people would buy a console just to play one game on it... that's actually a very scary behavior.
Welcome to the Club. BYOEstus, leave your souls at the door.
+ WTH is The Last Giant? Can it be killed?
You mean the last giant way down below the forest of fallen giants? A relatively easy boss that typically boils down to attacking the legs while avoiding his stomps. He's a handful at about half health. Ohohohoho.
"Spearman" i believe is a Dragonrider in the Tower of Flame. You can deal with him in three ways. Fire some arrows at him and finish off, drop him in the water by luring this boss to the edge of the arena or just kill him fair and square.
You can also summon Glencour if you want. His zweihander puts out enough damage that he usually draws aggro, allowing you to damage the Dragonrider with impunity (not that any of his attacks should be hitting you anyway while fighting him solo, but it can be fun to have the NPCs along).
The last giant shouldn't be too hard, and he's intended to be the first boss. Note that he has a very large gait and almost no tracking on his swings...
Spoiler
In other words, get away from him, let him charge you, run between his legs, and attack his feet from behind while he uselessly pummels the ground in front of him, dodging away when he stomps. Rinse and repeat until dead.

my main. SL300 NG5 SM32m
Spoiler
How can I lure him to the edge? He has a long spear and doesn't come easily to the edge of that tower.
Your sword is "Titanic"!
I have a +3 enforced Halberd that kicks ass, but for some tough enemies I should use my Mace again.
I finally killed that abomination "The Last Giant" after 20 attempts. I was so sweaty and my heart beat was like 110 per minute when I finished it!
I realized there is a furious Lizard-Head Boss at the other side of Tower of Flame (other side of the bridge) who jumped over me rapidly and destroyed more than 2000 souls of mine.
And eventually I saw my tattoo after such a long time of being undead:
How can I lure him to the edge? He has a long spear and doesn't come easily to the edge of that tower. Your sword is "Titanic"!
If you've raised the two platforms, you can't. But there's a lunge that he does where, if you haven't raised the platforms, he'll charge right off the edge and die if you can get him to do it in the right spot.
Not really worth it, though (and if you don't have the platforms raised, he can also end up knocking you off the edge instead). Just keep your shield up and circle him to the right, keeping close to him. Or summon Glencour and just have fun with it. He's not super effective as a tank, but he has enough health and puts out enough damage that it should end up helping you with the fight.

It's a lion mask.
He may be a bit tough for you, and he's optional besides. His moves are easy to avoid, but it takes a bit of practice, and getting caught by some of his attacks can be fatal early on. (You can summon Glencour here as well, but he's much less useful unless you can put out a lot of damage as well.) If you have trouble, just move on past the Dragonrider and come back to the cathedral later.

Please, that my friend is the illustrious, magnificent, amazing and fabulous Dragonslayer Ornstein, Knight-Captain of Lord Gwyn's guard and one of the hardest bosses in the first DkS.
He was semi-recycled in a much weaker form in the sequel, uses dark instead of lightning and is missing his fat companion, Executioner Smough.
Spoiler
Also yes, his beautiful mask is that of a lion, although imo it looks more like a wolf or other canine.
Yeah, I wear the visible Aurous on my SL 260 main as well, albeit with Velstadt's leggings, because they match much better imo. It's by far the most beautiful set in the game for me.
For weapons I'm using the BKGS, BKH or Defender GS with the Blossom Kite Shield.
I have some issues with loadout, this is why i actually wear Auros Set (before that this character was wearing Kings armor - this is why KUGS). I was using KUGS because it supposed to have a 'strike' type of damage, but in fact it's not 'strike' but 'slash'. And this is bad, difference is in hundreds points of damage against armored foes, and armored targets are majority in DkS2.
So as it now i have 4 GWCs and 4 KUGS. Giant Warrior Club still have more damage and better moveset against phantoms and some deadly mobs. Perhaps i will make another run on this character, to level DEX to perhaps 50. Maybe in one day i will use pair of GWCs in power stance.
But as it now i fancy myself with themed builds. I have a Siegmeyer of Catarina themed build (no pierce shield though) and Heide Knight with the Grand Lance.
Spoiler
Also i am thinking about Archdrake themed build, but i don't really like magics of offensive kind. and maybe Drakekeeper themed build with Warpick and Shield of Glory.
As for Black Knight weapons, i have a some desire to make a character in Elite Knight Armor with BKGS.
mmm speaking of BKGS can you apply different buffs on a weapon? I am asking because it have a fire damage as default, so can i use Sunlight blade, Fire weapons and Dark weapon buffs on Black Knight weapons?
nah not really. There are reasons why PC players are Master Race. And it's not because of our aim is better, or coordination and overall perfomance as a players, but because some other reasons which are related to these exclusive games and some other supporting products.

Bloodborne is easily a system seller but PS4 is also getting games like Deep Down, Dragon's Dogma, Destiny, The Order 1886 and a host of other console/ps4 exclusive games whilst the "PC games" all come to consoles in the end anyway (i.e The Witcher series). As a PC gamer, I find myself playing older games rather than newer ones. Asides from the obvious graphical differences, I find little reason to invest more in the PC especially when so many developers love screwing their PC fan base up with DRM's, delayed releases and other crap. It's easier (and simpler) to simply play on console.
And once again, From Software gives out a poor PC port so for me, playing all these games on console was a better experience. I don't have time for mods or modding anymore and thus that advantage for PC games is thrown out the window for me.
Also, people who stick only on consoles have no choice but to buy a next-gen console if they want the new games. Whilst some games are still releasing for the last-gen consoles, there's more and more that aren't. Soon the last gen consoles will become like how the PS2 was (only getting the sports games along with some other extremely down-graded series games and maybe one or two exclusives).
Also unless a game is a top-down RPG or RTS, I find playing with a control easier. Good luck if you're playing the PC version of Dark Souls with a keyboard though...
Plus a control can do this:
PC-Pure-Blood- "We only use keyboards" Mustard-Race = -1
as i said it's a good call to buy a PS4 as upgrade from PS3, you don't really have much of choice on this matter, because console is not a PC. PC is upgradeable when console is not.
What scares me when people are saying stuff like "i will buy a new console just to play this single game."
Jesus H. Christ what is wrong with these people? i would rather go in a gym.
it's not a hype train anymore, it's a hype high-speed locomotive.

Keep circling around him to the right (or the opposite of his spear I think it's right) and roll if he hops.
He's pretty easy.
Yes, you can use any buff on BK weapons. You get by far the biggest damage output with an extra fire infusion(increases base fire damage by ~40) and flame weapon, as that buff increase fire damage even more. Excellent for a strength-faith/intelligence build.
BKGS' two handed moveset is kinda bad though. Out of the BK weapons, the halbert has the best moveset, with its running/backstepping R1 tripple spin. All BK weapons have the problem though, that some attacks have a fairly long animation, so your open to an enemy attack if you miss.
i belive BKGS have a standart Mirrah Sword moveset which is nice. But i believe i will go with Claymore on my Elite Knight Build.
As for spin to win, GWC have a spin to obliterate twohanded strong moveset. It's a double swing with~ 3200 damage and knockback at 60 STR +10 Lighting with Sunlight Blade. Those full Havels guys are dying in a two attacks.
However for pvp purposes i switched back to KUGS, because it's standart attack is slow on first strike but the next ones are rather swift in animation. Stunlock with ~600 damage and i can deliver 5 attacks now.
However for pve purposes i still think that club and maces are better choice in general. Three sentinels boss are very easy if you go to Luna first for a club. Or you have a standart mace as a cleric or a morning star from majula. And with this club you just wreck this boss and a smelter as well. So clubs are better in general, my Onion bro is armed with Zweihander, but his perfomance on Royal Aegis is not that great in comparison to my main with GWC. Difference in damage types is great really. Double pursuers in a throne room are rather easy, because you can remove half of hp from the first pursuer before he can even get on his feet. And stagger will soon follow.
Again - Gargolyes? They are much easier with a 'strike' weapon. A lot easier. I fought them with a bastard sword, with a mace and with a club, and bastard sword was the worse choice.
And i think that Black Knight weapons, without actual black knight armor are kinda meh...
How many rats should I kill to make the Royal Rat show up?! And won't ever those hordes of rats just vanish? I'm kinda tired of killing them. BTW got 5 levels down there. Buying that cat ring was a smart move.
I mean these ones:
I think 1200 HP for lvl 57 is low that's why I can't kill any of the 3 bosses. Just saw the royal rat once. Is it a boss?
What will happen if I pray and spend souls for this casualty of war?
from the looks of it, he is not a casualty of war but victim of the murder. i believe he still can give you large soap stone if killed him before he give it to you. other than that, by killing him you ended his quest line. as result no fancy hand armor with crit chance for you.
Not sure if it will only be a PS4 exclusive based on this information but considering Capcom's "support" for PC, Dragon's Dogma 2 will likely be a console exclusive.

The thing is that Capcom ports over a lot more of their games than you would expect for a Japanese dev. Just not the ones that I really want. #fmylife
I have a problem. On High(est) graphic setting and resolution. Every 3-4 minutes framerates drops to 5 fps for near 20 seconds. So I had to lower the resolution (to 1280x720) and other graphic options.
Can it be related to the temperature of my PC or is it a Dark Souls 2 problem specifically?
Could be the computer. You can always try Durante's Graphical Mod, though I haven't tried it myself.
So I finished Demon's Souls a few days ago, and it's interesting to see things that changed since then, and things that were brought back to Dark Souls 2. I'm real glad DS1 & 2 changed the health mechanics. As hard as the health cap after death is in DS2, Demon's Souls brings you down in half on any death, period. That's a pain in the ass. There are effigies available(as a Stone of Ephemeral Eyes), but there's only about half the amount in comparison to Dark Souls 2. Demon's Souls employed disposable(and buyable) grass instead of estus, and DS2 seemed to head somewhere inbetween the previous 2. Someone said a while back that the DS2 bosses were too easy. Well, I beat 7 out of the 15 main bosses on my first try. Some of those levels will still beat you senseless(Valley Of Defilement in 5-2), though. I think once you've jumped over the hurdle of its difficulty and handling its mechanics, the game series as a whole becomes much easier. Some of them(Old Monk, Garl Vinland) are more like glorified phantom fights, anyhow.
I have 6 giant souls right now. Still can't defeat those three tall guardians in the Bastille and the lizard/lion one on the other side of Heides area.
