Don't worry.Well. I guess I asked for it.
The second DLC only has the gloves and boots.

I feel a "in MY day" post coming on. Nope, I can't stop it.
In MY day, we WORKED for our onions. We didn't have 'em handed to us by chests that aren't even MIMICS. So when you kids today see a pile of onions that looks a little bloodied up, a little tired, you salute him or her, because that person WORKED HER ASS OFF TO GET THAT STUFF.
25 friggin' intensity... dammit, FromSoft.

That's some dedication right there.

Wait, The Legend returned and no one told me?

Well, Sir Alonne's weapon is a complete disappointment. Should have invested those dragon bones in my Butcher's Knife instead.
you can't go wrong with Butcher's Knife...
however i have my main and i have my testing character, and so far i still prefer to use my KUGS, especially when they fixed it to 'strike' damage type.
Fume Sword... shame that it only have single scaling even if its S on DEX, nice moveset and you can have multiple copies of it. Although transition combo from attack to strong attack is rather slow imho. But single scaling, low physical and dark damage... kinda eh.
This can can beat bosses easier than a heavy armor knight with a huge badass sword.

But it doesn't look as cool!

mmm. no.
i think Souls series is dead... because Bloodborne is looking more promissing, besides in this title they are trying to accumulate all what's good from the old games.

The Mace is great, but I'm so booored of it. And I'm tired of dealing with its **** moveset.
We need some more small strike weapons (mace, morning star, base club etc.), maybe even a dex-based strike weapon.
Crown of the Ivory King DLC Screens
Spoiler
The other two DLCs I was kind of 'eh' about, but I'm really looking forward to checking this one out. It's awesome that FromSoft is exploring snowy environments again.

Looks interesting. I see it's gonna include the martial arts hadouken stuff that hackers are using now. Looked pretty sweet.
I just hope the main boss won't be a dragon or another armored dude with a big weapon
.
Yeah, in two of those posted screens there, the player character is using that martial arts hadouken stuff.
I am tempted to purchase this DLC now but I feel I should wait as I have a feeling a "complete" edition is somewhere a few months away. That second screen shot reminds me of Castlevania LoS.

And I absolutely love that so I'm really tempted to at least purchase this DLC stand-a-lone.
HALP

MAH GOOGELY-EYE IS STUCK IN DIS FENCE ![]()
Fun fact: those big, round things on a Basilisk's head are not its real eyes but just appendages that distracts the enemy, the actual eyes are smaller, hard to see and closer to the mouth.
these are Eyes of Death. I know, i am a Gravelord Servant.
There's no Dark Souls thread (that I could find) and I don't think it makes sense to start one, so I'll just link this in here:
How To Cut The Tail Off Seath The Scaleless
I have two achievements left in Dark Souls, and one of them requires me to get the Moonlight Greatsword, so I went looking for instructional videos. I could only find one, and it was pre-patch, using a technique that would no longer work.
It turned out that I was able to do it on the first try, just using text descriptions of the technique, but I figured I'd make a video for the one or two people still playing Dark Souls who might find themselves in the same situation that I was in.

People getting into the first game or Demon's Souls may as well put it in here anyway.
