Have watched the first season and nearly 10 episodes into season 2. many of the episodes are based on stuff I grew up reading about in my
younger days and they keep making references to other stuff such as lake
monsters, Skin walkers. I don't believe in supernatural stuff but I've
always been drawn to myths and urban legends. I've seen the first 10
episodes so far and the show is really fun to watch. I'm surprised to
see McG is attached to something that is worth watching.
One of the things I enjoy is that two main characters aren't 100% good
guys. They are more like anti heroes and the one brother does all these
little petty crimes so they have money in order to keep fighting
monsters and continue their travels. They aren't the usual good guys you
see in shows like this wish I started watching it much sooner.
I also love the 70s-80s rock sound track and the way it's kind of a
throwback to shows from the 70s-80s with people crisscrossing the
country helping those in need. There hasn't been an episode I haven't
liked yet. It's consistently entertaining and loads of fun to watch.
Sometimes it makes me laugh out loud like the little girl who says they shot
my clown! I think the show might be better than the X Files which has
numerous terrible episodes each year, shaky mythology and often takes
itself far to seriously.

I thought about giving this show a shot, but I don't hear many good things about it.

How about this:
Carry on my waward son!
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more

I watch it sometimes .
Feel it's well done, a lot of thought has gone into it.
And yes the famous fabulous Felicia Day has a recurring role.
She pops up in an episode every now and then.
Don't know when she started though. rotfl.
Maybe she'll ferl she's too busy to be Tallis again in DAI.
We'll see.
A spin off show has been approved for the CW.
Supposedly will be based in Chicago. Don't know who will be in it, although apparently it won't be built around Day. Good luck.

I went through 5 seasons last summer with my brother. It's a good show! Enjoy, OP.
