yes; i completed legacy and mark of the assassin before finishing DA2. Finished the game whish then autosaved the post campaign. Tried to load the post campaign only to get "Save file corrupt". Why has this not been fixed despite so many complaints others have made about this issue. This is just as bad as the problem in DOA Awakening where despite completely building and upgrading the keep it still falls

you think i didn't do that 1st before coming here? From all the searches i did as regards this issue, almost everyone said that the patch bioware did to solve this problem did not work and no one knows how to resolve the issue

Sorry if I inadvertently hurt your feelings.
Never had that problem .
I have a vague memory of someone posting about the order of the dlcs.
If you played them in a certain order you would get the corrupt file issue, playing them in some other you don't get it.
I recall following the advice and not having the problem .
But that was a long time ago and I don't remember the order.

From what I read, it's never been fixed. It's basically a matter of luck that some players never experienced the bug. I'm sorry.

Just finished DA2(PS3) recently and got hit with corruption as well(Played Legacy -> MOTA -> The Last Straw). It seems anything saved outside the Gallows Prison area gets corrupted(including Post-Campaign Save). Any save before that is fine.

It's probably another reason why we're getting "The Keep" instead of using our saves to import into DA:I.

Destroy all Legacy and MotA gear/items from your equipped gear, inventory, and storage and then play through the final quest with autosave off and your post game save should be loadable. Your Gallows saves should all load too when you do this. I figured out this solution a few months back and it's worked for everyone who's tried it so far.

If you are one of the ones who did the dlc's after the campaign then destroy the stuff from the first dlc and don't pick anything you don't have to in the last one you do. If you pick up something just destroy it.

Hawkes Key is the only piece of dlc gear you can't destroy but it doesn't cause the glitch. The glitch is the result of a conflict between dlc items in relation to certain versions of ps3 hdd's, since it doesn't effect everyone.

So tried all that has been mentioned here. Is anyone successful in getting past the corruption on save data? I can't even start a new game it tells me on creating that it is corrupted. I really like the game and prefer to continue playing it but this might make me stop buying/playing with bioware if they can't fix it.

My post up above has fixed it for a few people but if your game won't even let you start a new game there is likely something more going on with your game.  Have you tried deleting all your game data/patches and reinstalling them to see if it is an issue there?  Also. they have quit supporting DAII with patches so its highly unlikely we'll ever see a patch for this issue.

I'll link to my original forum post were I managed to figure out how to fix/prevent the issue for myself and a few others who've tried it.  If its what you tried before then you're very likely facing a worse case of it then most of us have and without being able to reproduce exactly what is happening to you I have no way of really trying to figure out why yours won't even let you start a new game.
