Ok, so after many years I am getting
my hands on NWN2 and thinking about the character I’m rolling



I am interested in
making a Stormlord and the question is: will I be able to advance to stormlord
levels only when I start playing the expansion part or I can install both (NWN2
original game and the expansion) and get Stormlord from the original story?

You can qualify for Stormlord by 6th level. You can expect to get to 20th in the base game. Terrible post btw.

fixed it...don't know what the hell went wrong.
so do i need to install the expansion before starting my normal game and then I can be a stormlord by 6th level?

As long as the expansions are installed, you can use the new classes and races in any campaign (well, in most). Level 5 is the earliest you can meet the requisites for stormlord, so you can take it at 6, yes.

ok here's a question. I have original NWN2 installed and MotB. NOT SoZ. Still the stormlord prestige was available and I advanced the first level in it. However when I am using a spear I do not see the enhancment in the character sheet. It should be a +1 at the first level although it doesn't show anything like this. do you guys know if this works even without being shown or is it some kind of bug?

Again, yes, it stacks. The character sheet lies very often, so don't rely too much on it as a source of info.

yeah I saw from the wiki that it stacks.  Thoght it should reflect in the sheet

ok guys, sorry to bring it up again but I kinda stuck with this.
I was checking the calculations in the info window below and it seems that it takes into consideration the attack bonus that the character sheet is showing which is not amped by Enhanced Stormlord Weapons. I am currently using a Spear +1 and my atack bonus as per the player sheet is 1 less than it should be. The damage bonus is only +1 instead of +2 also.
If anyone has encountered this before or knows how to deal with it I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

The character sheet is often wrong. What your character really does is not always what the character sheet shows.

Ok still it's strange that the calculations in the screen bellow show the same numbers. And I was wondering how people figured out that the enhancement stack with magic weapons since there is no indication

Hmm. I haven't played any stormlord lately, but that's always been considered common knowledge, so I'd be surprised if it had been wrong all the time.

You can try opening the console (the key depends on the keyboard's language) and type:

debugmode 1
enablecombatdebugging 1
debugmode 0

Then close the console, enter combat, and you should see more details.
