I don't know about the fastest but it seemed to me a new player without all the weapons and characters could get the "Death Guard" banner for Reaper Mastery if they fought only against Reapers while grinding for characters,gear and weapons on bronze or silver. [/quote]

I got Tech Mastery first. I've gotten it 8 times now and that's without really trying. If you use different Engineers and Sentinels, even some Soldiers and Infiltrators, they give you something towards that banner.

Getting AR and SG mastery was pretty easy too. But then I have all the guns and most are maxed. A limited selection would make that more difficult.

My first banner is for AR's... Is easy enough to gain points for 9 AR's or 100 medals...

The worst is still promotions, but excluding promotions... Council Agent really pissed me off!
