DumDum is holding true to his name. What he fails to realize is the hatemail crap Kook was sending to good players. He needed to be knocked off his little pedastal, and that alone was the only reason why I accepted.

Nice way of both admitting it and then trying to justify it at the same time. Don't you think we can see through that man? Get real why don't you :pinched:

i'd advise against continuing this, Mr. Dum...

I believe you are right, don't want this thread to get locked and all that.

PS. If you could only have a Claymore or a GI, which would you choose?

GI, because I use the GPS and not the Claymore ^_^

Part of me is just wondering if this isn't a case of "whip em out and measure" going on, and some overcompensating on the part of a certain kookydummy few.

Sigh. Epeen...

Biggest thing I got from the previous page is that quitting Mass Effect to eat is not OK.

You ever get the feeling that a thread can be derailed so, so far off course, that it actually makes it all the way around the planet and ends up on a similar trajectory?

I'm thinkin' this thread has that chance ...

He plays for fun, and he plays damn well.

When we played together last time (and actually for the first time) he sure didn't play for fun. I got grabbed by a Banshee on wave 9 and then everyone slowly died off one by one and we didn't reach wave 10. I was the one who had to say "hey guys, we play for fun don't we?" when he got pissed and left.

Elitist douchbagging I call that kind of behavior. I don't care how people react on the forum because here nothing is serious, but when actually playing together with other people then you can't act like a 5 year old kid every time something goes wrong.

What are you talking about? I left because it was dinner time and even said that after our first game! I was far from pissed off, but go ahead and keep making sh*t up.

You weren't pissed? Really?! Wow, I wish I had recorded that because right now I would have loved to play the audio for you.

I need to correct something about my previous post though. It is true that you didn't leave because you got pissed, you had dinner and watched some college football. The way I formulated my sentence made it seem like you left because you got pissed and I want to say that it was not the case.

So what is the story now?  He was/wasn't pissed?  Tsk,tsk, I'm beginning to think you are not a credible witness, sir.

lol, my post is still fine as it is if you understand how to read it, but the way I built up the sentence could be interpreted in two different ways so I just wanted to make sure you guys would interpret it in the correct way :D

So yes he was pissed, but he left because of other reasons B)

You are trying to spin it, but that doesn't jive with your earlier comment when you accused Hooch of being a 5 yr old, (which was hellalol btw, considering the source).  What alternate meaning did you have when you said he was acting like a child??

The attitude. It is a game, and I like to play it for fun and to have a lot of laughs. If something happens in the game (aka game decides to troll you or whatever) and you don't make extraction all I will do is laugh about it. Some people can't handle losing, even if it is just in a video game and you can tell by how their emotions change when this happens.

When you start taking a game serious and let it effect your emotions then you are behaving like a kid and not like an adult. The things you say and how you say them shows what kind of attitude you have, and the reaction I saw from Hooch after "losing" that game was that of a 5 year old who won't get his ice cream after dinner. The game did troll him, he had a lot of enemies around him and was pulling out a rocket to nuke them all and one Banshee slipped away and instantly grabbed him even though she should have been dead from it. But that is still not an excuse for taking it too serious instead of just playing for fun.

If it was mandatory for everyone to read Winnie the Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner once every year of their adult life the world would be a much improved place.
