Sometimes I just want to kick some ass. After a hard day of dealing with sarcastic people and thieves as a Security Officer I just want to shoot someone in the face with a Wraith wielding AIU.

Agree, of course it is a lot of fun to f.ex. TGI-Harrier or Kroguard-Reegar or Talon-GI and just drop stuff quickly without really having to worry about mission failure due to combinations of f.ex. near-immortality/extreme damage output/enhanced vision but if all combinations were like those the game would probably become boring quickly. The variety in MP and the easy on-the-fly adjustment of the challenge it offers depending on your mood with playing levels and kit combos has probably been a major factor in many ppl playing it for such a long time.

I really think there are enough powerful kits/weapons to say that nothing is truly over powered anymore.

There are no overpowered characters in this game. There are just some characters that can deal some decent damage while suffering from a huge disadvantage (health/shields/mobility). The only overpowered thing is someone who has good aim and knows how to play the game well. In other words, there are only overpowered players. No such thing as an overpowered 'kit' (I think that's another word for character).

Dude the AIU is broken and is a instant win button. That being said she is one of my favorite characters. My wife who has a N7 rank of 90 started playing on silver and gold as soon as she unlocked the N7 Pali. Even she admits the kit takes almost no skill to use.

How does promoting make you the best?  Wouldn't challenge points be a better gauge for that?  Meaning those players have a more rounded game?  I'm neither but curious how/why promoting would be related to skill in any way.

Leland Gaunt landed in a PUG lobby I was in not too long ago and geezus that was a lot of CPs!

I'm the one who makes the donut jokes. It's unexpected and gets people laughing. 

No pre-emptive strikes for me.  I let the pigeon pop the donut joke, and then make with the deadpan public ridicule.  I got applause once (and a mumbled apology).  A belt full of weapons, and all I use is sarcasm.  It just doesn't seem right.
