I sincerely doubt that Bioware lost a significant portion of its consumer base by including same-sex relationships.

But it doesn't matter if they did or not, because Bioware is within their rights to do whatever the hell they want. I never claimed otherwise. They don't have to justify their actions to me. I wouldn't accept their justifications in any case.

All I ever said was that I want gay romances and I won't buy a Dragon Age game that lacks them. If anything, you're the one taking offense at my right to spend my disposable income as I please.

Right, so your preference is already catered to.

That depends on the relationship, the character, and how each person perceives the romance. I think Liara's romance in ME3 greatly strengthens her content, and improves the LotSB DLC.

Now, given Bioware's past 5 games, I know that there will be romances in the game, but I do feel that this is a valid opinion to share regardless. I am sure I am not the only one on this forum who feels this way.

It's not a valid because your game already doesn't have romances in it.

Totally agree with this, the vanilla experience should be as complete as possible, taking away content will limit a lot of people's experience and thus their opinion on the game will definitely suffer. Personally I don't usually buy DLC, I've only bought ME3's Citadel because of the sheer amount of content it has (value for money anyone?). Maybe Bioware won't miss my money, but if you start adding all the people who share the same opinion you can bet they'll start worrying.

What do s/s romances have to do w/ packaging all romances in a DLC pack? Are you trying to tell me that BW wouldn't lose many customers by putting all the romances in DLC packs?
