Ah, KotoEffect.'s dislike of custom avatars is a hoot

It's very reasonable - you are essentially tricking Bioware's server software by sending specially crafted data - how is that different from SQL injection attacks, minus the malicious intent? After all, if Bioware wanted you to have custom avatars don't you think that they would have given you that option?

Bioware doesn't seem to have a problem with it

And since when is Bioware an authority on security engineering? The industry thinks that they know everything, and the inevitably result is useless rubbish like WEP or v SecureCode.

Since when is BioWare not an authority on what is allowed or not in their website?

Alex is the one true authority on what is allowed. Who does this "Bioware" think he is?

What about $265 million development/marketing budget and $1 billion in sales don't you understand?

What part of 'sales is not the same thing as profit' do you not understand?

Do you understand that far less than 100% of the sale price goes to the developer?

Dragon Age Character creator. I think there was a blog post somewhere on BSN explaining it all.

$744,000,000 in profit. Surely a gifted mathematician such as yourself coud've figuted that out.

So let me get this straight. Gamestop and Best Buy and whatever sell the game out of the goodness of their hearts, then? Since they obviously get no money at all if all $1 billion goes to the developers.

Even if that where the case, GTAV still made a massive profit. This is not rocket science. Look we know you want every non Bioware product to fail, but this is the real world, not Davids La La Land.

You're learning the true aspects of business my friend.  All you need is the Keyblade David, that is all you need.  Which one is up to you, do you choose the shield?  How about the sword?  No?  What about the mage staff?

Choices lie ahead, none of them matter easy.
