What will ever happen to The Division? That game was in release, and is the last game with his name on it.

Ghost Recon too.

Ghost Recon, the original game.

I miss those. Have you played the Warfighter series? I didn't like Future Soldier.

Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear

Damn it.... That game was amazing and for a long time felt like there was not many games that came close to it.

I liked the gameplay style for Rainbow Six Vegas 1&2, but I'll always have a fondness for the original Splinter Cell.

I'd never played any major stealth games up to that point, and it had this very slick stealth gameplay style that appealed to me. And the storyline isn't wacky and comic book-y like Metal Gear Solid, which is a plus. Rappelling from rooftops and wearing infrared goggles is, in general, pretty damn cool.

This and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Have not played Splinter Cell Blacklist yet so my favorite Tom Clancy game might change.

Only proper tac shooters from the GR & R6 franchises were Ghost Recon 1, Original Rainbow 6/Rogue Spear/Raven Shield.

The series changed big time & went from being intense realistic style/tactical shooters, to casual crap fit to be consumed by today's generation of CoD kiddies and housewives. I guess that mostly had to do with the shift from Red Storm to UBI.

Chaos Theory was the best SC game, btw.

Ghost Recon 2 was still a pretty good tactical shooter, just in third person. It was the Advanced Warfighter series that really messed it up.

Completly disagree. GR2 was garbage & a disgrace compared to the original GR.

Just in 3rd person ? So now you can be completly protected behind cover, yet you can still pan around with the camera and see everything (enemies positions)  Same bs as Vegas. I even remember other things like the bullet damage being toned down.  Tried to wipe all those bad memories out of my head though.

All the old tac shooter fans went to Bohemia and the Operation Flashpoint/Arma series because UBI abondoned them/sold out and Bohemia was the only one making realistic shooters anymore.

Chaos Theory was my favorite, especially because of the creativity and the difficulty of MP, there are no games that will ever meet that standard for MP, not even the recent Splinter Cells. To be honest, anything after Chaos Theory was pretty much garbage, IMO, only double agent for xbox/PS2 gets a pass on that IMO.

May his soul find peace.

As for favorite games:

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 and 2
HAWX 1 and 2
Rainbow Six Vegas 1 for the story and 2 just for the Terrorist Hunt mode

Haven't tried the latest Ghost Recon yet though but I hear it's pretty good.

Hurry up and get back from camp neju neju not payn3zz. I remember used to read his books totally loved it. His contribution to the entertainment industry is brilliant. Ubisoft should feel honoured they entitled to used his name in majority of their games. Also I remember use to play the Vegas series( love the terrorist hunt co OP) but I think blacklist  really impressed me the most. Didn't really like HAWX, I played with a. Mouse though. When I playedd.
End war is FTP now I thibk
RIP

Pretty sure Tom Clancy has zero input on any video game using his name - At the very least I know that Splinter Cell is an Ubisoft creation. Anyway, I'll say Chaos Theory is the best game with his name on it.

He used to have a lot of input back when Red Storm was at its best. UBISOFT bought the rights to his name, anyway, I doubt it mattered after that. The Division, EndWar and HAWX are perfect examples of how they use the name on whatever they want.
