I'd put up a poll, but there's too many options, and I can't really prune them because I don't know, maybe somebody really really liked Red Rabbit or something.
Anyway, for me personally it's Red Storm Rising. Just for sheer scope and depth I don't think it can be beat. But Cardinal of the Kremlin is a pretty close second.
Favorite Tom Clancy book?

Red Storm Rising
Sum of all Fears
Debt of Honor
I liked all of his original fiction up to Rainbow Six, but I'd have to say those 3 were my favorites. I also really enjoyed his non-fiction books like Armored Cav, Airborne and Into the Storm, but the three above really drew me in to his environments.
Tom Clancy was one of my favorite authors since I was in the military back in the 80's and his books were...timely and relevant...for the time.
RIP TC. Well done Sir.

Without remorse !
Clear and present dangers.
Executive orders.
Many books I didn't read though. ( stopped after executive orders ) But without remorse was awesome. John Kelly is awesome.

what a great question.
I gotta say 3 stand out for me-
Hunt for Red October
Red Storm Rising
Rainbow Six.
I think Hunt for Red October is the best. Barely.

That would be a tie between Without Remorse, Red Storm Rising and The Bear And The Dragon.
Though WR gets the lead for its deliciously viscious tortures. I really liked the pressure chamber.

Probably Without Remorse or...or...Patriot Games. I really liked Patriot Games.

Patriot Games for me, though I enjoyed every one of the books until I stopped reading for entertainment. I simply liked the idea of having the Royal couple over to the house for a BBQ; my kind of hero.
