Can we properly disrespect the Qun in DA:I?

I'd like to be able to put Qunbots properly in their place in DA:I. Hopefully this will be possible? Until now, in the previous games, the dialogue options seem to have been, as far as I can remember, to either express relatively polite confusion about Qun (after which the Qunbot disses you), or make subtly admiring/appeasing comments.

I know for a fact that not every player of DA games loves the idea of this totalitarian collectivist death cult, so I'd like to be able to be at least as condemning and dismissive towards it in dialogue as my Wardens and Hawkes have been able to be towards the Chantry.

Please do not force our character to respect the vile ethos of Qun.

Another bad dude player.
Let me give you some advice .
It might be Laidlaw, forget who said it, but it's possible for a player to exclude himself from 60 percent of the game by making certain decisions.
This sounds like one of those kinds of decisions.
So no,
I wouldn't disrepect the Qun.
No polite way to do it.
Put them in their place ?
Rotfl. Bad idea pal. Good luck with that.

The problem with allowing negative opinions to be expressed by the player about anything is that players would then expect to be able to have negative opinions about other things. Like, "Oh, look, I can make a snide comment about the Qun. Why can't I do that about Andraste? Or about those people who worship a baboon they call the Eternal Figmonkey?"

All things cost zots.

Though I do agree it'd be nice to have more player agency in expressing personal opinions towards certain things. It can stick out a bit when everyone around you has an opinion and can state it as rudely or reverently as they wish.

I just don't want to be forced to be nice to Qunari like in DA2.

Indeed I want to be able to tear into it or at least express hostility towards it.

Truth be told, it never really felt like I was forced to embrace the Qun, but more like know that it exist. Also in DA2 we do have the option to do win the Arishok's favor.

Certain people want to play DAI as bad guys.
Commit genocide and cause havok in the game because that's their personality .
If they want to play as an evil whatever, that is their right.
Apparently DAI will be loaded with consequences, some of them pretty adverse.
So the OP should be aware of it.

Unfortunately, there will only be improper ways of disrespecting the Qun in DAI. I guess Bioware just isn't a big fan of decorum. :)

That was pretty frustrating.

He said he wanted to disrespect it.
May need the Qunari's help in DAI.
Insult them, kiss any such help goodbye and lose access to content.
Actions don't happen in a vacuum in DAI.

Disrespecting =/= being against

While I myself have a fair amount of respect and admiration for the qun(what with the racial equality, advancements in science and learning, personal hygiene, etc), I'm always in favor of more options.

Just because somebody does not like the other doesn't mean they can't do business together.

Or the Arishok. You could be combative, but not openly hostile.

Qunari is a alien hostile system which has been a enemy of all the human societies in Thedas out to destroy them so I believe hostile attitude toward qun should be a option. Not asskissing.

I hated mota and Tallis because of that.

I always assumed that was at least partly due to Hawke not being, you know, suicidal.
