Ironically I played a PUG Gold with LEXISLUCCI today, and he was a good teammate, helped with objectives, revived, etc.

I would play with him on the team anytime

What does playing platinum consistently have anything to do with what I just said. 

I think what DexSD is alluding to is these guys probably don't pug plat -- they play amongst themselves or solo?  As a regular pugger I often encounter top XP/BoTB  players, but not those named above (though I've played in private games with some of them -- fabulous players).
