I was making an analogy. The poor are the 99% of ME3 players, and you're acting like the government in making this suggestion.

And no, I'm not derailing your thread. You should have seen something like this coming when you made this thread. The fact that you have to resort to ad hominem attacks to discredit me (seriously? Calling me a troll?) shows that you have obviously not thought your ideas through, and have no rational way to back them up.

1. Analogy? Really? Wow, you are smart

2. I have a rational way of backing them up, it's called "get out of my thread please!"

1. Yes, smarter than you.

2. Oh, right. "Get out of my thread, please!" Very rational. Silencing the opposition makes you right.

I do think it is a good idea for players to unlock difficulties, but probably more by points in lower ones.

If you say they need, for example, 250,000 total points in Bronze to unlock Silver, well then better players will unlock Silver faster, and worse players can still get there eventually - but with more enforced practice.
Problem with that is that 'points' are a rather arbitrary measure of value. Taking down shields aren't worth a lot of points on their own, but teammates with flamers, or snipers, still appreciate it.

Dumdum is trolling BSN again. He swears this is a legit thread, but if it was, it's long since been derailed...

It's been derailed because of Marek and Vaulting trolling the thread. Please get it back to topic people!

How was I trolling again?

You reject my devotion to you over and over again :crying:

Lol, really, a personal attack again? My God you are an annoying little creature. If you are so smart then why are you still posting here instead of doing something useful with your life?

Also, not silencing, more like taking care of my interests in the matter.

1. Actually, the personal attack was a joke. Taste of your own medicine, buddy (remember all of the times I called you out for the ad hominems? Well, that's how it feels like). Also, why do YOU post here if you think you could be doing something useful with your life?

2. That's synonymous with silencing.

1. A joke? Seriously, stop apologizing for things that you don't even mean, I will not accept them. And yes, I should probably go to the bed now.

I don't really get upset in my threads though, it's merely me trolling a
bit and I've been creating threads like that for 1,5 year on this forum
now. It's quite fun to see how serious people react to what a stranger
writes on the Internet. Basically all my threads have some truth in them
and some fake stuff, I like it that way ^^

EDIT: First I was asking why you would even post something old like that but then I realized it's not even my post, you just wrote something together and put my name on top. Well played Sir, well played

Why would you post something old like that? It's not even valid anymore.

I am OK with the concept although probably a bit too much of a hurdle having to solo the previous level..
With SP you still had team mates to help you unlock difficulties. Having a system that required you to extract x times on x difficulty on x maps etc might be an option . Could be a mission that changed randomly so that you couldn't acheive the unlock using 1 character like the Kroguard v Geth but had to show alround skills with unknown character /enemy

Hmm, that's strange. Why would you admit it was your post at first but then just go on to deny it? I don't understand, did you write that or not?

Well, something should be done at least for ME4, because the amount of PUGs just looking for someone to carry them on Gold and Platinum is overwhelming at the moment.

I thought it was one of my old posts first since it had my name in the quote, so I posted too hasty without reading it through.

Because it had my name in the quote (which I realize you can just add manually!) and everyone knows that I have admitted in the past that I used to be a troll even though I later stopped with that. What threw me off with that post was the time span of 1,5 year <_<

Why would I troll in my own thread? Doesn't make any sense.

And have you played with PUGs lately on Platinum?! If so you should know what I'm talking about.

Because that would just get my thread locked and maybe I would get another 24 hour ban as last time when I made some suiting comments about Mr. Booger.

I really need to get some sleep now, it's 5:50 am here now. Please keep the discussion on topic so I have something more joyful to read next time I enter the forum.

Well I'll take your word for it, even though you still didn't answer the question. Clearly you know a lot more about trolling than I do.

It's a never ending battle Cato. Everybody ends up getting herpes anyways.
