You know what Bioware should really do away with? Those faulty DR mechanics. In this game, 50% DR isn't actually 50%. That said, because of this, some of these armor powers are almost useless without staying in cover and speccing into full DR and fitness.

I'm not sure what you mean by 50% isn't 50%, but DR could be increased in some cases in this. Like this game. Now for the sake of this argument I'm gonna say that you get DR when you go into cover which you technically, it's just that the enemies lose their damage bonus. Anyway, so similar to the system where explosions do damage based on the difficulty the DR you get from cover could be increased as difficulty increases.
