Which do you enjoy more: carrying a team or attempting to keep up with someone of equal/higher skill?

Why...on God's green earth...would anyone...ever want/like to carry a team? You're asking whether I prefer 50 minute games or 20 minute games. I'm baffled by the question. Why would I ever want to be the only one doing all the work? Those games are lengthy, boring, sometimes tough and always frustrating.

Trying to keep up with another good player is fun and makes for quick games.

How can there even be a choice in this matter?

I'm just...wow. This is...wow.

some of us are better. and a glacier game can take as little as 15min even if I do most of the work

if a game takes 50 min. lower the difficulty.

With or without armored compartments?

I lol'd.

Carry me. I only score 150,000 on Platinum PUGs.

I hate carrying honesty, nothing makes me sigh more than doubling the next guys score with an underleveled kit. Never should a level 4 vorcha enginner score 100k more than a TGI, but it happens.

Have a few friends who are on equal skill level as me, love embarassing omens Valkyrie with a Volus lol, but its all in fun. The only thing I "try" to do is blow up possed aboms next to team mates.

My level of skill dictates my answer to that question, as I'm incapable of carrying a group below Gold.

I like even teams. I won't deny that "showing how it's done" is satisfying from time to time but only when I feel the rest actually pulls some weight. If I have to do all the work, I quickly lose interest - I can do solos for that - it's more satisfying with less lag.

I like having someone better than me on the team. It encourages me to try and outdo them, so I myself end up doing better than normal.

I'm kinda like Vegeta in that sense.

Depends. On Gold I find carrying somewhat enjoyable. On Plat I much prefer to try and keep up with better players.

I quite like carrying teams, as long as the randoms try to be helpful and participate in objectives.

Playing with 3 players better than me just utterly trivialized platinum and made it into a race to the spawns, so now I most enjoy playing duos with good players - means there are enough enemies to go around usually.

This and 20 headshots. A game without 20 headshots is a bad game or a game with iKnockTMBSmooth.

You know, I haven't really encountered many players that fit the usual PUG description around here. Maybe it's just me, I don't know.
That being said, I'm not good enough to carry a team unless the other players are really bad, and even then, I usually only end up carrying when one of the players, who happens to be the best player of the team, leaves. Then I guess I kind of like it, because it makes me feel semi-good. But I generally like playing with a well balanced team the most, where the scores are pretty even (because having one of the players have a much higher score than the rest of us always makes me feel like a scrub. Maybe rightfully so, but who knows.)
I consistently score 2nd or 3rd place, and I don't really mind.

I love to keep up with players that are better than me and usually resort to excuses like "lag", "my ___ glitched/bugged out", "Zain's host is the worst", "laaaag" after finding not enough enemies to kill.

Hosting is the biggest crutch in this game.

I prefer jumping in other people's backpacks. Good players like Knocking (ran into him once only in a pug and he destroyed everything. Everything was destroyed. Totally. There was nothing left. Total destruction. Totally.) TMB, wng, Jer, Dida, DragonRacer, reevolution, crim, limbs... you know, the good players. Not good in that they never make mistakes. Good in that they're actually fun to play with.

I can carry pretty good if I'm not playing a squishy character and we're not on Plat. Plat makes me weak in the knees. And other jibbly parts.

Second. There's satisfaction in earning first, but if you're winning by too far, it just makes you wonder who you're even playing against. What are there connections like? How long have they been playing? If I'm hosting, are they based far away and getting terrible lag to me? If I'm not, well I'm used to slow connections being in the backwater, are they?

But fighting for it... makes reaching it more satisfying. However, I still think second place is best place. No one can accuse you of not pulling your weight, and you'll get let of a reputation of a point hog if there's proof someone is doing better.

The only real challenge I have: don't be last. Someone will ALWAYS have to be last, the four best ME3 players ever will still have someone fourth. That's not shameful on its own. I just want to be sure I'm pulling my weight, and be sure that I am still suited for the difficulty.
