Hi,

I played the Citadel DLC & Ashley hooked up with James wtf although i romanced her in ME1 & was nice to her in ME 2 (not romanced anyone other) but did not close the romance plot for her (thingy with her sister and the cafe scene).

So... do i need to close the romance plot (after that when she would come to your quarters before Cerberus) & then play the Citadel DLC to get the romance scene with her?

Or are there special decisions to be made in the Citadel DLC with Ashley?

THanks

Yes you have to lock in her romance (meet her on the Citadel when she emails you) otherwise the DLC assumes you are not in a romance

Thanks only wanted a confirmation on that.

Just started a playthrough of the trilogy again with Femshep assuming it is not possible in Citadel DLC to romance Ashley... well.. I need to start over with Maleshep :D

Thanks again

Ashley is not Bisexual. So no romance for Femshep.

Also, like iakus stated, you need to lock in the romance with her before you play through the Citadel DLC if you want her romance content

It is actually possible to hook the two up with a little tinkering in ME1 on PC. Carries over fine through ME2 if you stay loyal. Way to do that can be found here:

You'll have a couple occasions where Shepard is referred to as he/man, and Meer's VO will play in a couple cutscenes, but other than that dialogue works fine in ME1. (I may look into whether that can be fixed as easily as in ME3 one of these days.)

In ME3, most of the romance-dialogue will be muted, and a couple times play Meer's lines. I went and replaced the latter with lines by Jennifer Hale that somewhat fit. If you are interested, it can be found here:

You'll also have to use gibbed's save-editor for ME3 prior to her rendezvous on the Citadel - the base-game rendezvous that is, not the DLC - to lock the romance in. Game simply doesn't recognize it beyond that. Instructions for this can be found here, among other things:

No dont get me wrong I never wanted to hook up with her as FemShep. Just played as Femshep this time because i thought CitadeL DLC was buggy or something when i played it & i thought I NEVER COULD romance ashley with any Shepard. I would not have even tried to romance her again with Maleshep so i thought i could start with Femshep

But now i have to do this again with Maleshep & Ahley all the way. Just love her in these games & i think she could have gotten more attention in ME2

Awesome work btw.. i might save this for another playthrough!

Do the storyline part of the DLC (with Brooks and CloneShep) after locking in the romance.  It makes a difference there too,

Basically don't touch the Citadel DLC until you've locked Ash in.

That was my mistake not locking in the Romance and starting the Citadel DLC Plot.

Thanks @ All

Omg really?? dang it! I totally forgot you had to lock that into ashley's romance before playing the dlc. Dang it, I played pretty much all of the citadel dlc and at the party and figured this out. Plus I was furious when I saw them at the party flirting with each other lol

Glad I read this thanks  :D  :D
