For those who have seen the topic of my campaign, and others that may see it here for the first time, I said that I want to use the original D&D pantheon. However, I have no idea on how to do this. I've found the nwn2_deities.2da and took a look in it... only to be more confused. So far I have altered only 1 2da file, and this I did as the guide suggested (it was for the wandering monsters). Another one that needed some work, Bealzebub did it for me(what a favor that was).
So for deities... they offer nearly nothing to the game. You pick one just to pick one. I could alter it just for the shake of it, because for example one companion tells you he worships Moradin, but when he levels up you got to pick a deity for him that is not Moradin... it is a bit annoying.
So how do I do this? I guess except altering the 2da I also need to tell my campaign to use this 2da through a variable? I am totally clueless in this one :/.
Also, please mention how important you think this alteration is or not at all.
Andy.

Its really as important as you want it to be.
That said a search of the vault throws up a few entries which have what you want already:
nwvault.ign.com/View.php
A quick look through them and you should work out how to do it pretty easily.

Didn't even search. I couldn't imagine that someone had done this. Thanks a lot for the link.

I downloaded the 2da, works as a charm and it is exactly what I wanted. There is one question though. It is meant to work as an override, which I dislike. My campaign will have no override at all. Is it possible to put the 2da and the tlk in some other form to be used from a module?

A 2da can be placed in a hak file attached to the module. I don't know about tlk files.

So, which the tanita's packer that I have I choose the the module hak and the 2da and save all together as a hak?
Edit: I did a test to convert the 2da and the tlk together into a hak and it work. I'll just add it to the module now. Thanks.
