It doesn't happen often, but I find myself agreeing with you.

I don't see how, if that is literally what a demon is. I don't see how it can even change states (why don't you, a human, try to become a...weretiger)--and if it does, it's no longer a demon.

Dragon Age's definitions of supernatural creatues needs further clarification in the games.

It seems pretty clear. Demons are spirits that covet the mortal world for one reason or another. Probably because of their more aggressive emotions.

But that is literally what a demon is. Justice was a spirit, Vengeance was a demon. The difference is that Vengeance took a too unhealthy interest in the mortal world.

Has "LI" become a verb now? That's... a little disturbing.

I should try this some time.

"Hey, you wanna LI me?"

"What does that mean?"

"Don't be silly, little romance."

"What?"

"You know you want this M/F thing to go smoothly. God forbid you're into F/F scenes."

"I'm leaving now."

"Wait! You forgot to disapprove!"

@EntropicAngel: A great deal of things in the DA universe should be more clearly defined. Too much ambiguity encourages people to think... and then the BSN is born.

Romance? Virtually no chance. We have desire demons but I wouldn't expect anything beyond that.

An alliance(albeit a fragile one) is possible. A companion? Eh well, we did have Fall-From-Grace as a companion in PS:T. It would have to be one very noble demon(or a very cunning saboteur) to get inside your group. I don't really see an LI happening.

How about, never in a million years.

but the warden and hawke got to. its not fair if the inquisitor doesnt:crying:

I was talking about a true romance. Those stay with Companions, but MAYBE if the choice was to have sex and die, then maybe I would be for it, just so the people foolish enough to fall for it would complain.

I think it would be an interesting story idea. play as a blood mage and grow in power it would not be lore breaking for a few demons to seek you out to try and manipulate you but at the same time you find a lot of desire demons that really only want to feel love. for example the desire demon in the circle tower in DAO. she possed a Templar not to torture him bit to see what its like to have a family. it was a longing to be a wife and mother that drove her so mush she was willing to risk losing the Templar in combat to protect it. she tried to deal and trick you into leaving her alone with him. so yea I can see it happening and even be a rich storyline if done with the same care as a companion romance arch

Correction.

The bar is designed so it can't go above zero, but has no lower limit. At the end of my life, I'm going to check how many Respect points I lost for humanity. That is how I will judge the quality of my life.
