We all know that multiplayer is pretty much confirmed for DA:I at this point, My concern is it going have an impact on the single player campaign like ME3's galaxy at war system?.
I am really worried that we might find ourselves forced to play DA:I's multiplayer in order to get the best ending in the single player campaign.
Is DA:I's Multiplayer Going To Affect The Singleplayer?

I hope not.
ME multiplayer was fun, but gave annoying conditions in Single Player.
Keep them seperate, bioware plz.

I don't know how anyone can say MP is all but confirmed.
Is it likely? Sure. But we haven't seen a shred of evidence to suggest the game is using it at this point.

With ME3 this is no longer a problem - now you can now get the best possible endings without playing multiplayer.

I'm curious if DA:I will hold to the same pattern that ME3's multiplayer had. No PVP, only online co-op? Man vs monster style.
Four inquisitors, working together to slay dragons and ****. Maybe take a page out of MMO design and go one step beyond your basic horde mode and have actual journey driven instances to run through? Could be fun. Unique levels, mechanics built into the environments and custom designed enemies to face.
And if the DA:I multiplayer DLC is like ME3's, we'd get new dungeons every now and then for free as well.

how can I find other multiplayers (no searches found)?

Well I wouldn't mind if it would unlock additional stuff. But something necessary to get best ending or whatever completion required for an objective in SP, I don't want.

It's just not something that should have to need a fix.reh123 wrote...

Yeah, true. But I think it shows that Bioware have understood that the multiplayer should not be forced. I think (hope) they will keep it in mind. ^^

Hope it does, but not in the fake and gay me3 way. I want it to be an extension or continuation of the single player, not some fake and gay numbers

NWN co-op dungeons were pretty cool. Imagine having 3 companions with you to go through a hard dungeon, only instead of them being AI, it's actually other players. I dunno... could be neat.

A 'Defend the Keep' co-op horde mode is the most direct/easy method to integrate MP since the ME 3 mode is still fresh in the collective Bioware minds, but I would hope for something with a little more depth to it. An evolution of the ME 3 MP experience, not necessarily a drop in/drop out co-op campaign, but something that allows for more variety and unique playstyles for the characters.
No more having a Volus with the same animations as a human, create different animation skeletons, have a Werewolf play completely different from a rogue, a Malibari different from a Warrior, etc.
Allow for more customization of characters: interchangeable armors (with differing stats), access to a larger pool of powers so that if the entire team are Dalish mages they won't all have the exact same powers slotted in, etc.

NWN had an amazing multiplayer system. You could co-op through the main campaign and expansions (as their stories could integrate more than one protagonist) and then you had the persistent worlds that had been created to play through.
Personally I would not be opposed to some sort of free-roam multiplayer segment (like Red Dead Redemption's multiplayer) with its own activities, quests and mini-games.

sigh. I hope no multiplayer is being made. I still rage about ME3's multiplayer. not only because it was necessary to have the less horrible "ending" (if you can call those horrors "endings" it was better the inconclusive ending of DA2. and I said it all. At least it was open, but not depressing.)
but because all the better ideas and classes where there. I would have loved my Shep using svword or all the others cool powers. but noooo!!! to use them you have to play MP.
and for people like me, who don't like to play MP, it means not have the chance to play almost the mayority of classes and combact stile. and the races!!!
I just played a little to have the chance to play as a Quarian. than I leave it (I guess I played something like ten times MP)
I hate it. so, I hope it would just not exist in DAI. and now that I have my races back, I have no other reason to even try it. and if there have to be one, no equipment, or abilities or maps just for the MP, and it must not touch in any way the single palyer campaign.
even better, it should be a separated DLC. maybe the MP should be the day one DLC, and not a companion.

I hope that the single game doesn't suffer and I devoutly pray that there are no plot points for MP. It seems sometimes like in order to justify something that a lot of time has been spent on one of the more rewarding plot quests centers around completing it just so.

MP is not confirmed and I fervently hope it's not in, as that would put DAI squarely in my " do not buy new" list (fool me once, shame on you...)

Link to them saying they were designing a multiplayer or it didn't happen. If they do have it I just hope it does not impact single player like ME3 did.

The devs are *very* aware of how big a mistake the whole galaxy at war thing was. Besides wasn't that one of the first things they fixed for ME3? Are you not aware of this, OP?

I heard you will have to play a PvP multiplayer match as soon as you launch the game each time and only the winners will be able to login to the singleplayer game.
** That's a joke by the way, figured I better explicitly say that before someone takes it serious**
Honestly though, we have heard nothing about MP. EAs requirement that each game have an "online" component will likely be satisfied enough with just have the Keep.

Most likely not after the backlash that happened last time. Not even EA is that stupid.

You could always get to best ending without MP depending on how much of the game you completed, and decisions in preceding games
