Looking at the first sentence of that page (emphasis added):

Welcome to the first annual N7 Day! To commemorate the 5 year anniversary this month of the original Mass Effect, BioWare will be celebrating with a day filled with in-game and online fun. And you can join us!

Sounds like N7 day was the 7th of November 2012, not the 7th of November every year. 

True, but it also has the statement "first annual N7 Day". It reads as if it were going to originally be an ongoing yearly event. I never thought it would be, particularly when they stopped supporting the game via patches and balance changes in March.
