I bought the NWN series collection and for some reason the NWN2 toolset will not load at all. The games work as well as the NWN1 toolset but no go on NWN2 toolset. Any help with this annoying issue? Thanks.

Yeah, I installed. It just says there is a problem with the program and shuts down.

Windows 8 though I tired to connect/run the program through earlier window versions. Not sure how to find out the .net version.
Thanks for the help.

I had same problem, and two things fixed it although I don't know which did what. One was the directx all´ready mentioned, and the other thing I had to do, because I installed all games together was some voice data file messing around. I am sorry I don't really remember exactly which. But I remember I had to take something out of a folder and out it back on when install was finished. Maybe I confuse you even more now ;/.
I also remember that I had to patch my game manually. I don't know if toolset would not work without patching... have you patched it, updated it?

I bought the collection so it is already updated. Voice data thing seems tricky.

for example you could look into your system control's deinstallation tool. if there's no framework installed you should do it.
