I have been on the fence about jumping onto ME trilogy on PC right now I have it on Xbox. The only thing holding me back is dark spots from place to place mostly in cut scenes on the demo. Its still very playable its just weird that these things happen in the demo no matter what I do with the graphics settings on my PC. I want to make the jump to full time PC gaming or at least mostly rather than buying a new console in a year or two but things like this are holding me back.
PC Specs
Samsung 7 series laptop 2012
Windows 7 64 bit 8 gigs of ram
2.2 ghz core i7 processor
Radio 6490 HD video card
1TB hard drive
This is the only game I have on my PC that does this. I have been playing Bioshock 1, Marvel Heroes, GTA 4, and a few others where the graphics have been flawless but ME 3 not so much. I am hoping I don't have to upgrade to a new computer because this one is less than 2 years old and cost me $1,000 before tax. I will though for the Trilogy it is one of the few games from my console that I would absolutely miss not having.
Are the dark spotchy spots in ME 3 demo present in the actual game on PC?

Yes, they are, and it's annoying.

You mean like those dark spots in the Child's vent? It's just a part of the game's lighting, don't worry about it. Your PC specs are very good, even despite being a laptop.
Yes I know this thread is fairly old, but I figure he deserves a reply.
It would help though if you took a picture of one of these errors, so I can tell you if they're just normal or not.

I appreciate the reply even if it is an old thread. I ended up buying the trilogy and yes I was meaning like the kid in the vent. I am finding that there are a few spots like that in ME 2 but after playing a few minutes of ME 3 that the ones with James and in the trial were fixed. I didn't go far into the demo because I did not want to play without my Shepard I started when buying the trilogy.

I've played it through 3 times on PC, and I have no idea what you're talking about. Which seems to me to suggest that you shouldn't worry about it.

What spots? I play it on PC and I never experienced any dark spots anywhere in the game.

They were in the demo. After buying it I found that they are not in the final game on PC.GimmeDaGun wrote...
