I doubt I'd be a happy camper, but I don't think I'd have the ovaries to actually pack my bags and leave.

As for my position, I think I'd be something artistic. My talents were in that particular area when I was a kid.

EDIT: Unless I was born a mage, of course. Out with the tongue and on with the leash!

I'm big and muscular, I'd be a warrior, a very frustrated Qunari warrior who'd get sent into re-education camps every 5 days because I couldn't resist hooking up with the skimpily clothed smoking hot Qunari chicks.

I'd eventually either get executed or flee to end up as Tal-Vashoth.

Leave the Qun but before doing that Kill The Arishok lol and Become a Tal Vashoth and end up being hunted by the Qunari:D
Oh and free the Sareebas from Qunari and build an army consists of Tal Vashoths, Sareebas, Chantry folk who hate Qunari religion and Viddatharis and take down the Qunari

The God.

Which is ironic as the Qunari's religion doesn't revolve around one.

Would you enjoy cleaning toilets if you were really good at it?

Call it a mid-life crisis. I gotta follow my heart. Follow my passion. Follow my dreams.

Tonight, I'm gonna have myself a real good time
I feel alive and the world it's turning inside out yeah
I'm floating around in ecstasy
So don't stop me now don't stop me
Cause I'm having a good time having a good time

I doubt the majority of people saying they would be Tal'Vashoth actually would be.

If you're raised and indoctrinated from birth to believe in the way your society works then you are unlikely to rebel against it.

I'd even argue that some of the people who say they wouldn't let the society influence their beliefs and would want to be free are mostly saying that because they have been influenced strongly by the freedom-promoting society they live in.

I'd probably be part of the priesthood, since I'm not warrior material.

I assume you mean being a janitor? Yes, why wouldn't I?

I'd probably be a member of the priesthood, likely one who primarily works in the scriptorium instead of preaching, etc. Or maybe I'd do the paperwork somewhere else, but since I really like philosophy of the Qun I'd prefer being part of the priesthood.

Are we even sure there is a "toilet cleaning job" in the Qun? Maybe its more generalised then this, so you might be cleaning toilets , checking inventory , steer sheep to cut grass or other similar duties. It would be pretty insane to have a toilet cleaning position really. And probably inefective during this time? Even today people cleaning toilets have other duties aswell, making it a well rounded work day. I dont think the Quns jobs are so mundane as people seem to think, and we also dont know how promotion works. It could be age related, so you clean toilets and stuff for 5 years, then move on to something else inside the producer caste maybe carpeting apprentice or other duties not involving toilets. Who knows?

Also, during thedas time period I would assume most people would be farmers/hunters/food makers. Very few would live in cities and have other duties other then making food.

Not knowing that much about the Qun, but how do they view extreme unwillingness? WHat if someone REALLY doesnt want to be a soldier, he will be a bad soldier. Is he killed? Or reassigned?

I would like to be a warrior in the Beresaad, but I would most likely be a merchant or a blacksmith.

I highly doubt there is such a job in the Qun as "toilet cleaner", but several opponents of the Qun, do like to imagine that there is such a thing.

Considering the capabilities of the Tranquil, couldn't the Viddath-bas just clean the toilets, while bossed around by a regular Qunari organiser?

You don't have to be a Qun opponent to imagine a janitor job. Somebody has to take of the sanitation. The Qunari are said to have advanced sanitation. Mary Kirby said so.

I guess i misunderstood you. Took your quotation of me as a refutal to my point. Either way, I have no doubt that there is a janitorial job in the Qun. Maintenance specifically. But I dislike the notion of people trying to pass of such jobs as "cleaning toilets all day", since obviously there are more to it.

Sword Collector?

I'd likely end up a mason/builder type person.  Alternatively weapons research and development as making things blow up is a passion.
