None of those characters are unrepentant serial killing rapists that love to play with their victims though. As far as morality goes, Morinth is pretty far into black morality with no redeeming qualities.

Which honestly makes Xilizhra villifying the qunari hilarious

Pretty well all of them are unrepentant killers.  Which may be as bad because they are killing for profit and such and it could be argued that the ardat yakshi are menatlly ill.  Hey morinth is a bad chick but there are a host of other companions we have had that are pretty bad as well.  The difference is the story ignores or lessens the focus on them and puts Morinths actions out front.

You are awoke by the state wakup signal tower 06:00. You remember you must turn in your clothes to the state washing central , and take on your other pair of state-grey clothes. You eat your daily ration of porridge calculated to be enough for a working adult with the state-normal-spoon. You walk out to meet one from the priesthood in your barracks/area of work to hear todays Qun prayer/sermon/words of wisdom/encouragement and find out what work you will be doing (probably the same as everyday, but someone might be sick).

You walk of to state farm no. 186 to do your daily task with a few others.

During lunch someone from the priesthood comes and shouts slogans or something else about the superior Qun ways as encouragement. Maybe they bring news from the harbour about the ills of the rest of the world aswell.

After a long day at work you walk home where you get a few houers for your self, wich you probably use for some kind of amusement or just sitting around. There is no need for any side business since there isnt any money involved anyway, and you are supposed to get whatever you need from state merchants.

I think ancient Mycenae might have a similar economy as the Qunari. They had a palace economy where everything was centralised and everybody brought their goods to the palace for accounting.

1. Wake up
2. Spend day in mindless slavery to the Qun
3. Go to sleep.

Swap out "Qun" for "social norms" and that describes nearly everyone I have ever met.

what philosophy most closely resemble the qun? This could help determine how they live and think.
