I'm excited to play qunari as a race. Beyond that, I'm excited to be a female qunari. Furthermore - a female qunari mage. Everything about this is exciting - mainly because:

1. We've never seen female qunari in the video games before.
2. There's no telling how a qunari race + mage class is going to work. Will we just be abandoners of the qun? Will we be bound/horns cut off/mouths sewn? Who knows!
3. Everyone's reaction (in-game) to a female qunari. It seems like they don't come around much, based on DAO and DA2. So, I hope my girl gets a lot of, "Wtf? They *do* have women!!!" reactions from the general population of Thedas.
4. I'm hoping for a good "our party just ran into the Qun" sidequest. It'd be fun to start some drama. I'm female, I use magic, and I'm of their race. I want some good banter. Maybe a brawl if I select the right (wrong?) thing to say to an Arishok.
5. Qunari girls are hot. (See below)

The female elven mage in DA:O became probably my favourite playthrough, simply because of how far removed it was from my usual style--human male warriors. A female Tal-Vashoth Saarebas pushes that even further. Bring it on.

Screw that, my female Qunari is gonna be a muscle bound Bare-Fisted Monk who'll punch the heads off her foes and have a Xena War-Cry.

Haha. This is a pretty specific thread but I like it. I plan on playing exactly this character for my first run. If I don't go totally mad before it comes out, anyway.

This is what I plan on playing on my first playthrough.
Mage or Rogue (still haven't decided) but definitely a FemQunari.

Hells yeah! I'll always play female city elf rogue first on my first playthrough but I'm definitly sure that a female qunari mage will be one of my ultimate favorite playthroughs hopefully. And geez the female qunari looks frickin awesome!

Why is it always about females?

I still plan on an elf of some kind first, but female Qunari will definitely be my second run.

It's from DeviantArt - a pretty, fan-made rendering of fem qunari. I dig the shaved sides.

I hope we can get an awesome arrowhead nose like all the qunari males we've seen. :D

1. We have not seen them in game.
2. They are prettier then males.
3. Hips.
4. Boobs.

I'm going nuts, myself. I was at a geek-con this weekend and ran into only one DA fan (she was a Cassandra cosplayer). She and I went on and on about how Inquisition's wait is killing us, lol.
