As I promised my friend Dragaaan a lot of time ago, I finally uploaded the footage of a Drell game we had quite some time ago. It was a full team game, but the other pugs weren't pulling much weight, as it's always expected. Not bad pugs, but... Still pugs.

I think this showcases nicely the power of Drell - look at how fast those late wave Collectors spawns melt. And I was lagging quite a bit, too.

The best part of the video by far is an epic sync-kill save on wave 6. I had to leave for a while to answer a call, and Dragaaan almost got himself clawed by a Praetorian to save one of the pugs. Luckily, I could start playing again just in time to make the Space Crap release him.

So, enjoy the footage guys! And for Dragaaan: I f inally made it, man! :D

You're starting to get cocky Deerber. Your Holy Drellness waving at His subjects is disrespectful :)

The Raider is passable (only just), but the abomination you were using isn't. You should feel bad. I will pray to the Lord Claymore for forgiveness.

Sweet drelling, Deerber. I use almost the same setup, except I take the blade attachment and go full melee for CQC emergencies. And I think I saw you use pull once? lol you old dog. You definitely play him more aggressively and frantic than I - I tend to take cover when it gets scary instead of pressing. Great vid though.

Haha if you mean rematch the way I think, well... It ain't a fight ;)

Plus, you outscored me the game before, when I wasn't recording. ;)

If you mean doing it again then by all means. Looks like Caerdon's interested too!

Eh, I know man... I know. I have to play 10 FQE games for every Drelldept one, given my weapon choices. That is the will of the High Lord, he spoke to me :innocent:

Ah, here's Shyde! Thanks! And yeah I got 3 points in pull. It's only very situationally useful, but I prefer 3 points in it over 10% additive weapon damage, especially in case of solos/lag/have to clutch waves.

I guess the way I play Drell is by wiping the floor clean before the enemy can fire - dead bodies don't shoot, so their shields and health are not very meaningful.

AirQuotes pls

Getting headshots with warp ammo on primed enemies is surprisingly difficult, because there's a pretty big chance the target will be killed by the huge ammo damage, which doesn't count as a headshot. And he killed most things with grenades, anyway.

Adjust to lag and stop sucking. :P

Yeah, headshots are a pain for the drelldept.  So many enemies without heads killed by "Reave."

I won't. I don't like dealing with it. I prefer to rage and blame it for the lack of headshots :P

Seriously though, I am aware that the lack of lag adapting capabilities is probably the worst side of my gameplay. It's always been. Don't really care to change it, though :innocent:

The High Lord can tolerate you using his brethren, the Wraith and the Raider, but your choosing of the lowly Harrier is not an offence He can so easily forgive. I'll pray for you, brother, and beg for the Lord to have mercy.

Unfortunately, Clay's supremecy and status as a High Lord is as much pragmatic as dogmatic.
The dogmatic truth of the Claymore is that it is the final answer to every question, particularly if that question comes within 5 meters (10 with smart choke).  Not the only answer, but certainly the last one that question will every get.  The pragmatic truth is that it kills stuff quite well.  Unfortunately for Clay, Harry does a pretty good job of that himself, which gives him a seat at the table and chip in the discussion and for better or worse a hand to hold in battle.  And yes, sometimes that hand is attached to my drelldept too.

tl;dr  Clay old buddy, you did it to yourself.

You get a 15:45 game where you reave bomb everything, then complain that the pugs aren't pulling their weight.

You should have used the Reegar, that would've fit quite nicely in the concept of this "duo".

I never complained nor said that they weren't pulling their weight. I said they weren't pulling much weight, meaning they were not killing as much stuff as Dragaaan and I were doing, which I think is obvious from the video. So it pretty much felt like a duo in regard of killing stuff. They did all the objectives properly though, so I'm definitely not complaining about them. One of them even tried to save me from a sync. Better than most pugs. But still, pugs.

Begone from here, filthy abomination lovers!

... No but seriously. You should throw that abomination out of the airlock.
