I do seriously believe you Budgee. Okay I can't speak for those public places, if they are real or not but I have experienced plenty of that stuff, enough to know it's real, not gonna talk about my experiences here though but I am no skeptic trust me!

First one was a large glowing orangish orb in the sky and The Moon was in a different part of the sky. Well I watched for awhile until it disappeared.
Second one, it was a Red small dot that moved at abnormal angles and abnormal speeds. Well by that time, I am used to watching airplanes in the sky. Airplanes will have 3 main lights, of course one of them is red and moved at a reasonable speeds. With this Red Dot, there was only the red light.

Plus, I know the things I experienced were NOT some dudes screwing around! We watched the staff leave! Anyone who works in the hospitality/service industry knows it's hard work. An extra day off is welcomed. Plus, how would they stage the greenish light?!? I got to know the manager, she is no prankster.

Did you do a rather extensive searching of the Inn after all of the staff "conveniently" disappeared? If the Inn has a reputation for being haunted it is in the best interest of the staff to keep spreading those rumors because it will continue to draw business. Hell. your "Julie" could have even been complicit in it all.
They also rely on the very same rationalizations you're using to contribute to the idea that the place is haunted. They don't have to convince you if you can convince yourself.

There are objects that are unidentified that happen to be flying. Whether or not they're actually aliens is a different matter entirely, but it is highly unlikely.

BTW I've read a book or two about these paranormal activities around 15 years ago (I used to say 10 years ago, now +5 is added to that 10 years. I suppose we're getting old). I was so scared about really strange stuff described in this book. But nothing extraordinary has happened to me. I guess living in the middle of capital city has its own benefits too (It is not just pollution, expensiveness and traffic!)

I believe in ghosts all day long. The question is, are they really the spirits of the dead, or are they something else entirely. Other-dimensional beings? Some sort of temporal footprint?
Mankind was ignorant to many things, for a great many years -- think about how tough things were before we understood electricity & how to harness it to light our homes & roads. Or our modern understanding of medicine. Humanity will make many leaps in science and our understanding of our reality...
What if ghosts/the afterlife is the next big breakthrough?? What if our species is on the verge of that ONE thing, the discovery which proves something about the paranormal?
Because of this unanswered question, I must remain open minded.
