Now that I have lost Tali, I am a little bit gun shy about selecting who should do what??????? Not a big fan of Miranda, so if I lose her, oh well. But I don't want to lose anybody else.

I lost Tali during the firefight on the Collector's Base - Infiltration. How did that happen? The only person not "loyal" to me is Miranda. I really liked Tali. She came in a close second to Liara.

Did you use Miranda as the second team leader? A non-loyal Miranda will get your specialist killed.

Yes, yes I did use a non-loyal Miranda as a team leader. Okay, I am going to step into my Way Back Machine and fix that. Since I do not here Liara as my love interest, I will take Tali. Kind of liked her from day one (though Liara is still my heart).

You can either check the Suicide Mission Guide thread or listen carefully to your team mates about who to use for what. Miranda generally has good advice, heed it. Some team mates are good for some things, some not, regardless of loyalty, though loyalty is also important.

She was the reason Tali was killed. I replayed and sent Legion in to unlock the doors and I let Garrus lead the Fire Team. Miranda was ok with that. I was going to lat jacob lead, but he has been my right hand man since day one and I wanted to make certain that he stays alive.
At the end of that day, everyone stayed alive and Legion got an 'atta boy'.

BTW, I actually lost Tali in ME3 once and it was totally an accident. I didn't realize the conversation path would play out like it did. I thought I would have time to change the direction of things, but then the dialogue was over and Tali swan dived off a cliff. Oops.
