Didn't know I'd fail the Precious Metals quest in Origins if I deposited the Lyrium into my chest at Warden's Keep... wow.

Should I just quit now? Is there any way I can fix this without reloading a previous save? I'm playing on Xbox 360.

I probably can't do anything about it but I hope I am able to warn others before they make the mistake of managing their inventory...

Looks like I'll sell it for 12 gold and lose out on 63.

I never bothered with that quest, but then i also hack my own money, i see no fun in that sort of thing.
I suggest you read up on exploits to get the money needed to play the game.

I got a fail too, but that was after I gave the lyrium to Godwin and got my money. :D

If you have a ps3 game version and you left bella in charge of the redcliff tavern , you can get jewels from her and sell them for money

As an addendum to my above post:

On a lark, even though the quest log told me I'd failed the quest, I returned to Orzammar and met with Rogek. I got 2 options: I sold the lyrium or package delivered. I chose the first option which made Rogek and his thugs go hostile. After the fight, when I looted Rogek, all he had was 20 gold - the amount he promised on a successfully completed delivery. Now, I know I could've negotiated more out of him, but I didn't feel cheated out of the quest even though the quest log still showed it as a fail. So my advice would be to get the lyrium and go to the tower and see if you can still cut a deal with Godwin.

You can steal 20gold from Rogek as well with the proper skill.
