The only thing worse than Origin is GFWL. Even so, they're still pretty close to each other in terms of crappiness.

Still in Beta so don't mind the bugs. Steam was far worse at this stage of its release than what Origin is currently.

My only complaint is that ever since that last update it's been not launching origin in game, which makes it kind of hard to add friends to my game lobbies. >.>

Weirdly I never had any real problems with Steam even in the early days... but then it was basically just a server browser for TFC for me.

I think we are being too harsh on the Origin dev team, they have come a long way from the early days and made Origin into a very useable product but still far from perfect. I am sure they are doing all they can as quickly they can. It is easy to compare 2 similar products but Steam has a clear advantage of a 8 year headstart over Origin in ironing out the bugs.

LOL. You can't even change your e-mail in Origin. You can't switch languages in a store (everything is in French for me, even though I want English)
It lacks BASIC functionality. And the support is atrocious.
