M-358 Talon N7 color retexture

 I have a few questions: 

1. Would it be possible to retexture the M-358 Talon to N7 colors using ME3Explorer and a texture editing program and then re-pack it? Meaning the default texture would be N7 without the need to use TexMod? 

2. If that's possible - would the Guardian Talon also change to N7 colors or do they have their "own version" of the weapon?

1 is definitely possible, I would use TexMod for easier testing of the mod while you make it, then use Explorer to permanently replace the Talon's textures.

For 2, the Guardian's gun would also change to the N7 version. Same for the other weapons the enemies use like the Phaeston, Hornet, Mattock, etc.
