Later there going to bigger RPGs and open world games. Mass Effect will be competing again. The four things I want I hope they include, that will make the game amazing, fun and ton of replayability. I know I'm not in favor of playing another human because that would be like Shepard 2.0 I hope for species and the other things. I'm curious and interested about the story.
What will they be Talking about Mass Effect at NYCC this year?

I dont care about size is my point, I care about quality. What's the point of a 200 hour game spanning the entire galaxy and every planet if all you do is spend half an hour on each rock looking a trinket to take back to some hot alien on the Citadel? That is my problem with 90% of RPGs. ME suffered a bit from this, but not nearly as much as projects coming out of Lionhead and especially BETHESDA do.

That what rgs basically are they have a story, with exploration and gameplay. Mass Effect was never a on rail type game. If you want a on rail game go play call of duty or something like that. Mass Effect is too huge to be on rails. It not a rail game. If people don't like a game or series because of the freedoms, exploration and a good story, RPG that game is not for them. I know many people want the features that I want as well. Mass Effect have a huge universe and need to be explored. If you don't like exploration you could always skip it. Exploring and vehicles makes it more fun, adds more.

Yeah, no you have twisted my words my friend. I'm saying. The quest I outlined was more or less the problem with ME1 quests, and similar feeling of Fallout and Skyrim. Exploration when it informs the narrative in a substantial way is great. The sidequests of ME3 I liked a ton, and the ME2 ones were pretty good as well. Rescuing the Cerberus scientists and Sanctuary were both non-priority missions. This is how exploration and sidequests should be done.
However, having a massive open galaxy with 2 inhabitants every 1000KM of land, who coincidentally both need you to travel a light year for them after having met you, or game design choices of the like, is silly and game padding.
Please dont tell me to go play an on rails shooter like Call of Duty. That's about as offensive as it gets.

Sorry. I guess I read wrong, I was just defending exploration and not a Mass Effect on rails. I know how people don't like exploration. Exploration is much better now than it was years ago. I think it should be side-quests like you mentioned, like it was before. Exploration was always part of Mass Effect and Optional, you didn't have to explore unless it was part of the mission. The way they did it in Mass Effect 1 they should take that form but improve, make it better. Add more things and make it different, you should be able to enter in and out of your vehcile, transport, ship. That be pretty cool.
People that don;t like RPG's or these type of games I usually tell them to go play CoD, games like those. Halo and Battlefield, Killzone are much better than CoD in that area.

Zakuspec089, just wanted to thank you for taking your time to go there, ask the question to MW and tell us what he told you first hand.

Exploration is fine, but there has to be something to actually see and do besides decrypting rocks. Obviously the setting doesn't allow incorporating the kind of exploration you see in a game like Skyrim, but it could work if they set up multiple hub worlds where the story would be concentrated rather than having you hop around the galaxy willy nilly.

They said exploration like in the first Mass Effect. I know we are still couple years behind. You have to remember that was years ago, this is today there better content and gameplay for exploration and vehicles. Mass Effect One was my best and favorite of the series. I hope the next Mass Effect return exploration and have species customization. I suggested Species Customization and New Vehicles type to them when I was at Comic Con. Who knows what they will do.
