I liked them both, Ash is my favourite caracter though so i saved her.

however i have other play throughs were ash lived. same with wrex

I've never saved Ashley. Kaidan's the greater asset to the mission.

With my main Shep i first left Ashley behind and saved Kaidan, but then i felt bad about it, reloaded and saved Ashley. Sometimes i'm a little bit old-fashioned and can't let women get vaporized. And Kaidan is a good guy, but i hardly ever use him, regardless of the class i play.

i let ash die, i liked kaiden better and i romancing him as a fem shep so there u go. and wanted the 2 voice actors from kotor to be together.

Well saved differently on toons.

Most of them i did save Ashley.

Saved Kaidan once but only on a female toon plus had killed Rex as well on that same toon! LOL

Saved Ashley aswell as the Salarians and left Kaidan to die. I don't care about him, he could fall off the grid and I won't even notice it.

As a female Shepard I always found him annoying. You'd think an officer in the military would know better than to come on to his superior like that. He was far too forward.



Although I did like Kaiden playing as a male Shepard. I still picked him to stay behind though. Ash is far more useful to me than Kaiden was. After the the start of the game I never use him again. If I want a biotic, I have Liara and Wrex to choose from.

First I Saved Kaidan and finished the game romancing him with my fem.Shep, just for the sake of romance. Then I reloaded, saved Ash, and finished a new game with no romance since the LI in ME2 sounds far better and I only used Kaidan in my party till I got Wrex and Garrus.

Although he was a nice guy.

Ashley went out in a blaze of glory on the 1st play through then Kaiden on the 2nd since I decided that he wasn't good enough for my femShep. lol

Ashley. I really liked Kaiden even though I didnt romance him. And Ahsley was only a soldier, nothing to write home about, I almost never used her, instead I'd use Wrex when I needed a thug.

This sums up my view. Kaiden was just so... boring. When he reported back that he knew I was making the right choice going for Ash I wish I could have had a Renegade response to yell back into the mic at him. "Durr, no **** it's the right choice!"

I'm just nearing level 60 with my main and, as tradition dictates, Kaiden will bite the radioactive dust very soon. Even in playthroughs where I don't romance Ashley, he goes. At least he got to see more action this time around (someone has to open the hard decryption lockers).

Kaidan = Boring

Ash = Boring and annoying

Thus, Ash always gets sacrificed. No exceptions.

Ashley. I cried immediately after because I really liked her as a character and thought she was really interesting. (Hey, I'm a woman and I was caught off guard with this whole YOU CAN ONLY SAVE ONE scenario.)



I then regretted my decision post-sex with Kaidan.

Shep: I don't think I've got all my stress worked out yet.

Kaidan: JOKER'S WAITING FOR YOU ON THE BRIDGE.



After that, Kaidan dies three times in a row on play throughs 2 through 4.



(Yes, I know I mention that line in practically every post I've made on the ME forums but that just goes to show how much I hate it.)
