Both the Warden and Hawke leaned paragon, so this time I'm going to roleplay a stereotypical Inquisitor.
In other words the sort of character that wouldn't think twice about burning witches, using torture to extract information or a confession, executing prisoners, or otherwise ruthlessly crushing anyone that stands in the way of his goals. He is going to be pro-Chantry but not anti-mage. He won't have any problem with mages so long as they abide by society's rules. No mercy will be shown however to blood mages, hedge mages, or rebels seeking to buck the system. Likewise no quarter will be shown to Tempars who overstep their mandate and persecute mages who are playing by the rules. He is also going to be very a much a "it is better to be feared than loved" type.
He is also going to be very black-and-white in his worldview. Say for example the Inquisitor was pursuing a known blood mage and outlaw, and discovers that the blood mage was hiding with the help of a poor peasant that the blood mage had paid. The poor peasant pleads for mercy, and swears that his family was starving and that he was desperate for coin to keep them fed. After having the blood mage dragged out of his rat hole to be burned at the stake, without a second thought he'd condemn the poor peasant to the gallows for aiding a known outlaw and maleficar. That the man's family might have been starving, or will be condemned to starve again in his absence, would be of no concern. The Inquisitor would only be concerned with upholding the Queen's law (or the Divine's) and punishing those who break it.
