Posting this in a seperate thread so you don't have to wade through 7 pages of the sticky.  All thanks to TimeStreamer who posted in the mega thread.

If you are getting this error: "System Error.  Please try again later.  If the problem persists, please contact EA customer support."

The problem is your EA/Bioware account password.  The CC will not handle some non alphanumeric characters in your password.  I changed my password to letters and numbers only and the error is gone.

Ahha! That might be my problem, since I use strong passwords everywhere. Thanks for the tip. Who'd have thought that they didn't check their password setup.

Edit: Confirmed. Changing my EA password fixed the problem I had connecting the accounts. Now I'll just have to try some character uploads. Woo.

This makes me "happy" as I have to now change my password at like 5 different ea sites. Obviously I just have to change it once for EA to know, but LastPass needs me to visit each site and update the password to remember it on each site. Oh joy.
