Hi all,

I've been away from modding NWN for quite a while. I came back to IGN's NWN Vault back in late June but it was closed down. I checked neverwintervault.org for any salvaged files but it seemed incomplete (at the time).

I've recently checked the website and I was able to load the pages and all of the hakpaks/modules are still listed there.

I couldn't find a post regarding the status of the Vault. Can anyone update me on what's up with nwnvault.ign.com recently?

It is up and running, it's just unsupported anymore by IGN. From what I've heard, they plan on keeping it running (at the minimum as an archive) for the foreseeable future.

So far all the content that was there is still available.

As of a few minutes ago...
I just made a new account so that works.
The search engine works.  
Downloads transfer as usual.
But, the Neverwinter Vault boards haven't been accessible for at least a week through my connection.

Also the "email the author" feature apparently no longer works. However you can still vote and leave comments on the individual submissions.

As the search facility works glacially slowly for me I made a google custom search for the vault and put a copy of it into a project in case anyone else had the same problem.

Funny thing, I tried registering, it told me there was an error with the code part and I always got it right.
Also tried activating an account I have not used in a few years, doesn't take.
No support means no way to resolve this.

It might be the cookies.  Try using another browser that hasn't set a cookie for IGN yet.  I'd recommend removing the offending cookies in your current browser but sometimes that action can cause more headaches than it fixes.  One registration attempt, I tried an ID that must have been used already, it flopped and had to try again.

But, yes, unsupported means we are flying without a parachute now.

Nope, didn't work. Tried another browser and removed cookies in that one, still get the same error.
Funny thing, I was also seeing about reactivating an old account I had stopped using. before if you found the name, it was black and no link showing it was deactivated. Now it is brown letters and linked as if active but I cannot get into it.
I even tried Recover Password, that gives the same error message too.

No rush but thanks.
If you do see him, my account there was under the name RogueStork, I was told Rogue1618 was in use and couldn't use it so I changed it to the other one.
If the old one cannot be used, I would at least like to be able to make a new one.
