Reading thru some magic treasure in the DM 3.0 guide gave me some inspiration.....comments/critiques welcome. The handle is going to be shortened and a leather grip added. Not sure about keeping the stabbing portion of the pommel.

Frakking 'ell. Works great in game, except that the transparency on the axe blade wisps become reflective. Apparently weapons pick up the envmap as detailed here by OTR (who is a genius!). Going to have to rework the textures a bit.

Okay - texture fixed...no more envmap issues. Works fine in game........

I'll try to get posted to the vault this weekend.

Final version submitted to NW vault for approval. Both greataxe and battleaxe variants finished as such:

I'll submit the download link here once approved and up.

An awesome weapon, exactly like the lifedrinker of the DM manual. Thanks for sharing!

I think I prefered a cleaner metal spike instead of the patterened. Cool, anyway.

I'm with Six on this one. By having the spike patterned it gives the impression that it is decorative rather than functional.
However, still a very wicked axe indeed!
